In reply to: [Flexia] Matching Navbar margins to BodyI believe I clearly laid out the problem and requested a particular action.
If all you can do is deflect a request for support, then I’ll look elsewhere for a WordPress theme.

In reply to: [WPS Menu Exporter] Didn’t workDidn’t work at all for me either. When I tried to import the xml file output by WPS Menu Exporter, all WordPress did was list the names of several pages and indicate the pages “already exist”.
Useless.
Very good. Thanks!

In reply to: [Flexia] What are the recommended plugins? Thanks for your response.
I can’t stand Gutenberg and will stick with the Classic Editor.
However, I will continue to evaluate Flexia, which appears promising.
I think Tahir is talking about the Solutions sub menu, which shows a neat display of headers with links below them to the left, and page links with descriptions and images to the right.

In reply to: [Async JavaScript] Site visits from Gossamer ThreadsOn further investigation, this is likely GTMetrix scanning the site. GTMetrix was developed by Gossamer-Threads.

In reply to: [Autoptimize] Site crashed, loading only htmlNever mind!
Didn’t realize I have to save each Autoptimize settings page as I go.
Going with these recommended settings has improved my GTMetrix score to an “A”.

In reply to: [Autoptimize] Site crashed, loading only htmlWebhost routed the urls to https and I’ve cleaned the database and reactivated Autoptimize.
GTMetrix gives me an “F” for “Enable compression” and offers this suggestion:
Compressing https://www.yoursite.org/wp-content/cache/autoptimize/css/autoptimize_617e4825e5be77c292f61037a2a10e3c.css could save 583.4KiB (78% reduction).
Can you recommend any settings to fix this?
Thanks!

In reply to: [Autoptimize] Site crashed, loading only htmlUsers had been receiving 504 errors or seeing only slow-loading html.
However, I was able to get the site to function, barely, with just a few Autoptimize options enabled, before remembering (with a prompt from GTMetrix) I’d recently added an .htaccess rewrite rule to route all instances of my home page to https.
Once I removed that rule and reactivated Autoptimize as previously configured, everything returned to normal.
Now I have to lean on my webhost to route the urls properly on the server.
I appreciate the assistance!
Thank you, Prashant!

In reply to: [Comments - wpDiscuz] colors to blackThanks, but it’s far too difficult to communicate what we need here in terms of specific color settings.
I used Chrome’s developer tools to inspect each element and determine its CSS (right-click on the element on the page and select “inspect”), and then pasted the new CSS in the Custom CSS Code box.
I would encourage you to add more color settings to the Styles and Colors section. But in the meantime, developer tools are the way to go.

In reply to: [Comments - wpDiscuz] colors to blackI appreciate the new color options. They’re an improvement, but I can’t locate the settings for at least two components.
1) How do we set the color for comment time and date?
2) How do we set the color for the line that displays comment +/- and Reply?
Thanks!

In reply to: [Comments - wpDiscuz] colors to blackThis will be a welcome improvement, as recent WP Discusz updates have rendered my comments section unreadable.
It’s hard to believe you would provide a comments plugin with such elaborate options and ignore the most important of all — allowing the user to set text and background colors to fit his or her theme style.
Otherwise, are we expected to locate and pick apart the plugin’s style sheet to determine which style affects which button or text block? In that case, why would we need the plugin?
Let’s hope the new upgrade fixes those problems.
Each folder has the two files — one html and one gzip.
I have no wp-json folder. However, I’ve flushed the cache and turned off WP-Optimize caching, so that may have removed this folder, if it existed.
For now, I’ve switched over to WP Super Cache.

Marc:
A day later, the site cache is more than 8 GB in size.
I examined the wp-cache folder, which holds individual folders for each post.
A typical folder shows:
index.html 1,018,355 html document
index.html.gz 238,446 gzip fileI also have 320 events (All-In-One Event Calendar), each taking up about 1.5 MB of cache space, along with WordPress pages, tags and categories.
Then there’s a “calendar” folder likely related to All-In-One that has numerous entries. That calendar is likely taking up a lot of cache space.
So, we have a lot of folders, taking up a lot of space. Mind you, this is after I turned off pre-loading and set the cache lifespan to 24 hours.
Unfortunately, I can’t share the url here.
Thanks again!
