    Hi @asmolyakov,
    Please read the labels of those color options. There is no color option for the text. Those colors are for buttons and other action components.

    Please wait for the next 7.0.3 version release, it comes in a few days with new color options so you can change the text color too:

    This will be a welcome improvement, as recent WP Discusz updates have rendered my comments section unreadable.

    It’s hard to believe you would provide a comments plugin with such elaborate options and ignore the most important of all — allowing the user to set text and background colors to fit his or her theme style.

    Otherwise, are we expected to locate and pick apart the plugin’s style sheet to determine which style affects which button or text block? In that case, why would we need the plugin?

    Let’s hope the new upgrade fixes those problems.

    Hi @asmolyakov,
    Are you using the “Minimal” style? Please switch it to the Default. We don’t support the Minimal style. Please read the description of that style. It’s added for Developers. This style is just turn off all wpDiscuz styles and let you customize the stile yourself. So if you have any issue with the Minimal style you should fix it yourself. The custom colors will also not work for this style.
    Again, the “Minimal” style is a “turned off” style, you should switch to the Default style for light themes and to the Dark for dark WordPress themes, unless you want to create new comment style from scratch. And, please remember that the current and upcoming color options are also turned off for the “Minimal” style. All wpDiscuz options are only available for the Default and Dark styles.

    I appreciate the new color options. They’re an improvement, but I can’t locate the settings for at least two components.

    1) How do we set the color for comment time and date?

    2) How do we set the color for the line that displays comment +/- and Reply?

    Thanks!

    Thank you @bobjones,

    1) How do we set the color for comment time and date?

    Please use the following CSS code:

    #wpdcom .wpd-comment-date {
        color: #eb26b2;
    }

    2) How do we set the color for the line that displays comment +/- and Reply?

    Use this code to change the background color on that line:

    #wpdcom .wpd-comment-footer {
        background-color: #f0e2f2;
    }

    Please note the value of color and background-color can be changed.

    All CSS codes should be added in the Dashboard > Comments > wpDiscuz > Settings > Styles and Colors admin page “Custom CSS code” textarea.

    In any case, please don’t forget to delete all caches and press CTRL+F5(twice) on the frontend before checking.

    Thanks, but it’s far too difficult to communicate what we need here in terms of specific color settings.

    I used Chrome’s developer tools to inspect each element and determine its CSS (right-click on the element on the page and select “inspect”), and then pasted the new CSS in the Custom CSS Code box.

    I would encourage you to add more color settings to the Styles and Colors section. But in the meantime, developer tools are the way to go.
