In reply to: WordPress.org unsuccessful transfer?Hi and thanks for reaching out! This recent reply is correct, and you may just need to wait for propagation to complete, if you updated your nameservers correctly and have the domain name used as a primary or assigned as an addon to your Bluehost account.
Are you trying to migrate the site that you created using WordPress.com over to Bluehost? If so, this will help with that process: How to Migrate an Existing WordPress.com Site | Bluehost Support
Or, if you feel comfortable providing your domain name here, we can definitely take a look and get you pointed in the right direction. Otherwise, you may want to reach out to Bluehost support directly, so they can review further: Contact Us | Bluehost.com

This does sound like an issue or change that needs some guidance directly from the developer, although we would be happy to review your account to get a better understanding of your issues. If you are able to provide additional details, such as your domain name/site, we would be happy to help troubleshoot further.
We also understand any privacy concerns you may have as well, if you would prefer to reach out to get pointed in the right direction, via social media:

In reply to: Custom Database Table Prefix Not Allowed?Hi Jonathan and thanks for reaching out! Bluehost does allow for the modification of the database prefix, however, other modifications need to be made in order for it to work with your site. Additional modification of the database tables to correct the prefixes would also be necessary along with anywhere else it may appear in your site files. As Evan had mentioned earlier in this thread, databases can be managed through the PHPmyadmin tool. This article has more information on that:
https://www.bluehost.com/help/article/managing-your-db-using-phpmyadmin
This is out of our scope of support so we would recommend consulting a developer for any additional guidance with website development. As far as Bluehost goes though, there should not be any restrictions on your hosting to prevent these changes. Support would likely be unable to recommend the edits due to the chance of something going wrong to the point that would require developer intervention. Support is however available to try and answer any hosting related questions you may have here:

In reply to: [UpdraftPlus: WP Backup & Migration Plugin] Backup IncompleteHello @whenwewerentlooking,
I am a part of the Bluehost support team. I see you mentioned leaving Bluehost due to frequently getting malware on your WordPress website. I certainly understand how frustrating dealing with malware is and would like to offer some advice.
The server on which you host the website is not actually the weak spot when it comes to malware. It actually comes down to the website and what security features are in place to protect that site.
WordPress powers more than 40% of the internet. Microsoft, Salesforce, Grammarly and Zoom, to name a few, use WordPress for their websites.
Although WordPress is a secure content management system, WordPress websites receive regular security threats because of the platform’s popularity.
Malware is among the top website security threats.
You can very well move your site to another host and if you don’t take any steps to prevent the malware your site will be just as susceptible to it as it was on Bluehost servers.
There is good news, however. There a several ways to protect your site against malware.
You can use certain security plugins. Bluehost recommends Wordfence, Securi, and iThemes Security.
Here is a link with a lot more information on how to prevent and remove malware:
https://www.bluehost.com/blog/bluehost-security-how-to-prevent-malware-attacks-on-your-wordpress-website/
Bluehost also partners with a security company called Sitelock. If you contact our support, they can connect you with a Sitelock representative that will explain all the different options they offer. They can even help remove the malware from your infected site so you don’t lose all the work you’ve put into it.
You can learn more about them here:
https://www.bluehost.com/help/article/order-sitelock
I hope you are able to save your site and all the work you’ve done. While our support team cannot remove it for you, I know they would be more than happy to assist you along the way and get you connected with a Sitelock agent who could tell you more about how they can remove the malware.

Hi Jordan and thanks for reaching out! The error you see there is typically caused by incorrect syntax within your crontab file. This article from a site outside our organization has some more detailed instructions on identifying and correcting the issue:

In reply to: There was an error. The response is not a valid JSON response.Thank you for providing additional details. In reviewing further, the error is stating that Cloudflare is blocking an IP address due to specific rules within the firewall setup using Cloudflare Basic. To manage or unblock/whitelist IP addresses, you would need the premium version of Cloudflare, which support can assist with upgrading or removing.
Please let us know if you have any additional questions or follow up, and we would be happy to review further.
