In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] tinyMCE forms error messageHi @glebovitz,
Thanks for sharing those details. You’re absolutely right to flag the mismatch between the primary domain and the staging subdomain.
This usually happens when a site is cloned from staging to live but some internal references (like asset URLs) still point to the staging environment. That can confuse browsers and break plugin functionality like Jetpack Forms or WooCommerce product features, especially when scripts fail to load as expected.
To get this cleaned up, you’ll want to do a search and replace in the database to update any leftover references from
frv.sys.mybluehost.metokd1mu-radio.com. If you’re using Bluehost’s hosting tools, our support team can walk you through that safely. You can reach us directly here: https://www.bluehost.com/contact
Once that’s sorted out, the Jetpack Forms error should stop appearing. Let us know how it goes. We’re happy to keep digging if anything else pops up.

In reply to: [Clean Gallery] Clean Gallery Incompatible with WordPressHi there, Doctor Garret! When themes become incompatible or outdated it can be fairly frustrating and typically you will need to look into using a different theme, if an update isn’t an option and downgrading your WP version is out of the question.
We do have a Knowledge Base article that helps to outline what you want to look for when switching themes, to ensure that you do not lose any content or functionality.
Here’s the article that has a pretty in-depth breakdown: How to Switch WordPress Themes Without Losing Content
Be sure to review the entire checklist and, if you have any issues or need guidance, please feel free to reach out to our support team via phone or chat support.
Hopefully, the admins with Clean Gallery can chime in here with any additional guidance as well.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Stalls when changing monthSo the JetPack Plugin is one of those “starter” opt-in/out plugins that is offered during the install like the Bluehost Plugin. So when WordPress got setup on the new account it likely set it up by default for the same reasons explained in the last post. Toggling it off should keep it off though, so no worries there as this is a rare occurrence to have a major change like this that would reinstall it. Not to mention I have reported this issue to see if we may improve going forward if there is a way to avoid it.
As far as the Bluehost Plugin disrupting account manager access, no need to worry there. You’ll still be able to login through the account manager. The major differences will be the inability to utilize the following features:Bluehost Caching Automatically clears the server page cache when your site updates
Bluehost Staging Create a staging copy of your site to safely test changes
Wonder Blocks & Patterns Library Dozens of beautiful block templates and patterns

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Stalls when changing monthHappy to address the points in your first post as well!
BlueHost provides Jetpack Protect and the Bluehost Plugin as an option during install, something you did not have to deal with for this migration so there isn’t an opt out action on your end, which I understand may have caused some frustration here. Being that we moved a whole lot of accounts, NOT installing these would have resulted in every webpage being inaccessible through the Bluehost Account Manager as that is one of the many things the plugin helps to connect between the site and the account manager so they communicate with each other. All that said, you can still switch them off, just know you’ll lose functionality of some Bluehost features turning off the Bluehost Plugin so it’s not really recommended. Jetpack is for sure optional though, feel free to switch it off if you do not want/need it, but it is a rather handy plugin.
I can get your point about not notifying about the plugins and will certainly be passing it along to the team. That said if we had not, we would have waaaaay more than this post to respond to with everyone unable to manage websites through the account manager.
As far as the auto-updates, pretty much the same reasoning here. Had we moved over everything and disabled updates (or even maintained no update settings) everyone of those installs would come for us when they get compromised for falling behind on updates. Most of our customers rarely check their account and it can often be too late if you let those updates fall to the wayside.
For the caching plugin flush, you may be on a different version than those old instructions. Go ahead and try the Performance option.- This reply was modified 12 months ago by BluehostSupport.

In reply to: Org held hostage, site in shamblesHey there! Happy to help with those instructions for checking the error log. Here are the steps from our online Knowledgebase:
Follow the steps below to access the error logs in your Account Manager.
- Log in to your Bluehost Account Manager.
- Click Websites on the left side of the navigation menu.
You can also click on the Hosting tab, locate the hosting package you need to manage, and click its MANAGE button.
- Look for the website you need to manage and then click its SETTINGS button.

- Click the ADVANCED tab on the top menu.

- Scroll down and look for the Logs card. Click the MANAGE button.

- On the Logs panel, you will see the following tabs:
- Access Log
- 4xx 5xx Errors
- Activity Log
- PHP Errors
- Click the 4xx/5xx Errors tab.

- Under the 4xx/5xx Errors tab, you will see the following columns:
- Date: This shows the timestamp when the error occurred.
- IP Address: This displays the IP address of the device that made the request to the server, which helps identify the source of the error.
- Request: This shows the specific request made to the server and the URL or file being accessed. This helps pinpoint the exact location that triggered the error.
- Error: This shows the HTTP status code representing the error type that occurred.
- Device: This provides the details about the user’s browser, operating system (OS), and device type used.
You can also check them in the corresponding website directories via FTP or the File manager, just look for the “error log” file. Let us know if we can be of any further assistance!

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Stalls when changing monthGreetings @jkengineer! We love caching plugins that’s for sure. On the other hand, too many of the same type of plugin that uses caching can really make your site do a lot of crazy stuff. More often than not sticking to one plugin to handle those tasks would be your best move.
Bluehost offers both a built-in page caching feature and compatibility with popular WordPress caching plugins. To manage caching, you can either utilize Bluehost’s built-in options within the Bluehost plugin or install and configure a third-party plugin like W3 Total Cache or WP Super Cache.
Using Bluehost’s Built-in Caching:
- Log in to your WordPress dashboard.
- Navigate to Bluehost > Settings.
- Scroll down to the Performance section.
- Enable caching by toggling the switch to “On”.
- Choose a caching level (e.g., Assets & Web Pages).
- Consider enabling “Purge All Caches”: to clear existing cached data.
Hi! The error Unexpected HTTP response code: 409 means the request could not be completed due to a conflict with the current state of the resource. Several factors that cause this kind of error: plugin conflicts, theme issues, caching, and etc. We recommend to disable all the plugins and reactivate them one by one to identify which plugin is causing the issue. If there is nothing wrong with the plugins, you may also try switching the theme to default to determine whether it’s caused by your current theme and to rule out theme conflicts. Make sure everything is updated, like your plugins, themes, and WP core files.
If everything still fails, please reach out to us by contacting our support either via chat or phone.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Conflict with The Bluehost PluginHi there. Thank you for bringing this problem to our attention. Right now, our team is working on a resolution for that problem.
Currently, the only way to get around the issue is to disable the Bluehost plugin. The only concern with that is that you lose access to certain Bluehost features until you reactivate the plugin. So it becomes more of a question of which is more beneficial to you at the moment.
We do hope to have this issue resolved soon so you can continue to enjoy the benefits our plugin provides.

If the crash is preventing you from getting into your WP Dashboard, you can update your plugins from your BlueHost interface.
If you are able to get into your WordPress Dashboard, you can run the plugin update in the plug-in section.
If you run into any issues, please feel free to reach out.

In reply to: Spectra-Gutenberg Block EditorJust to clarify, the storage space for our highest shared hosting plan is capped at 50G for your account, keep in mind the cPanel storage indicators may not line up with the specifications of your plan as the restriction is not within the cPanel Ui and will not reflect as such. That said, no hosting plan is truly unlimited, you are still going to run into resource issues if you push it far enough.
If you are using 52.8G of space, then you are likely over your limit and that excess is what is possibly slowing your account down since the server has no room to operate. If that was the amount being taken by the memory, which seems unlikely…. that is extremely high for any website on a shared hosting plan. You may want to re-evaluate your account and website to ensure excess files are removed and that the website itself is optimized to run on the plan you have selected. If you find it’s still exceeding limits you may need to start looking into other non-shared hosting plan options.

In reply to: Spectra-Gutenberg Block EditorHello there! It looks like our team reached out and is helping with this issue. If you need anything, we are here for you!
Hey there! We always want to provide our customers with a smooth transition when creating their site as this is as precious to them as it is to us!
Themes or plugins that are provided by a third-party provider, such as YITH, can greatly limit the level of support as we have zero access to their back-end. Meaning we certainly do not have the ability to “steal” a theme. Bluehost can assist in locating the root cause of the issue you may be experiencing; we do not have access to the source code or update logs from YITH, nor do we manage licensing agreements on their behalf.
Licensing agreements through our AI website builder or marketplace are typically provided under general-use or open-source licenses, or via partnerships. If you are trying to do something with the theme that is included under the paid license, it may require you to add the license to make use of these additional features. We apologize if there was miscommunication during the setup process, but we can assure you that we are here to guide you in the right direction.
