In reply to: Backup Folder Not WritableHi and thanks for reaching out! This does sound like it could be a permissions issue or perhaps a plugin that needs to be updated. We would need a closer look at the account to say for sure. Support should be able to assist or escalate a ticket to be addressed. If you run into any issues, we would like to invite you to reach out to us on social media with any unresolved tickets or issues you are still facing. In reply to: [WooCommerce] Emails are not sending to customersHi and thanks for reaching out! It would be difficult to provide troubleshooting here without an account, however, with some of the details provided we do have a couple of suggestions. You had mentioned purchasing Google Workspace and that you had not yet set it up. If your mail records automatically updated to Google but the account does not yet exist, the email will not function. If this is the case, you need to either set up the website’s email account on Google or point your MX records back to your Bluehost account to use the free webmail.
You will want to verify there are no issues with the email you are using before getting into the WordPress side of things. Regarding WordPress and logging in; You can log onto your website without going through the Bluehost control panel if you prefer. All WordPress installations will have users setup with an associated password. This information can be entered into the WordPress login screen by going to your “website/wp-login”. This will allow you access without logging into Bluehost. If you don’t know your password or your WordPress users, you can find the user management options in the WordPress dashboard.
If the email is functioning properly and setup correctly within WordPress this may be more of a developer issue, however, we would still be happy to take a closer look. Feel free to contact our support team by phone or chat, and they would be happy to assist you further.

These errors do appear to be directly associated with a plugin, although it could be something more involved regarding the PHP version or a recent update, as others have mentioned here. Please feel free to reach out to our support team via phone or chat so they can review your site and get you pointed in the right direction.Forum: Installing WordPress

In reply to: new fata; error, Theme Canvas, GravatarHi and thanks for reaching out! Chances are that the issues you are experiencing are due to an isolated issue with a plugin or your theme, per the error report that you have provided. Also, as a moderator recently mentioned, deactivating all plugins and changing the default theme will help in discovering which plugin is problematic one by one, although it sounds like you may be having issues with that as well.
Please feel free to reach out to our support team via phone or chat to dig into this further and we will happily review your account to get you pointed in the right direction.

In reply to: Unable to Save PostHi and thanks for reaching out! We’re sorry to hear you’ve had these issues updating your site and getting the problem resolved through our support team. Without some more information we won’t be able to identify an exact cause. However, the previous post from t-p has a lot of good information to help you narrow down what may be causing this error. If you have followed those guides and believe the issue may be with the server settings or other hosting-related configurations, please feel free to reach out to us on social media. You can find us on both X (Twitter) and Facebook, just let them know we sent you from the WordPress forums, thanks!
Hi and thanks for reaching out! We’re sorry to hear you are off to a rough start with your new service. It sounds like perhaps the WordPress.com account linked to the plugin was deleted when you canceled your service with them. Jetpack does require an active user in their system for Jetpack to work. From here you will want to either create an account and link your site to it or if you still have an existing account, you can link it there.
We have a helpful article in our Knowledge Base titled, “Jetpack – Create WordPress and Account Setup”. Check that out on our website for step-by-step directions and you should be back up and running in no time! If you have any issues or if there is anything else we can do to help, please feel free to reach out to our support team by phone or chat.

In reply to: My Domain is still pointing to a deleted WordPress.com accountHi and thanks for reaching out! We’re sorry to hear you’ve been experiencing issues associated with DNS and recent updates. In doing a quick review, it does appear that the domain is currently in propagation and the DNS is being updated. Chances are that these changes will update soon (usually within 24 – 48 hours) and your site will function as intended. Here are some more details regarding propagation that you may find helpful: https://www.bluehost[.]com/help/article/what-is-dns-propagation

https://twitter[.]com/bluehostHi and thanks for reaching out! We were able to take a look and we would recommend addressing the mixed content issue preventing your site from loading properly. To do this, you will want to force your SSL on all pages of your site. This article has full instructions on how to do that:

In reply to: WP Dashboard compatibility issuesHi and thanks for reaching out! Sorry to hear that you are getting error messages when accessing your dashboard and we wanted to provide some helpful information to get that sorted out for you.
To address the header error, you would need to turn on output_buffering within the site’s php.ini using cPanel > MultiPHP INI Editor > Editor Mode and add the following line:
output_buffering = onTo address the fread error, you may want to check your core files and run an update.
As for issues with logging into the Website Builder, we suggest reaching out to our support teams for guidance. They may need to get a case escalated so that our Admins can review further. If you already have a case and need some assistance expediting it further, you can reach out to our support team via social media here:

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Im having a problem after payHi and thanks for reaching out! Woocommerce does appear to be the issue here and your best bet for support. The errors in the log provided that reference the Bluehost plugin are troubleshooting log entries, not errors. It also looks like the Bluehost logging occurred on a different day than the error after paying. Because the error only appears to be happening within Woocommerce and is not hosting related they would be your best line of support.
Our recommendation here would be to reach out to Woocommerce support directly with the error code for help diagnosing and resolving the issue. Their support team can be reached here:

In reply to: Default Plugins Being Installed AutomaticallyHi and thanks for reaching out! Those plugins are installed with WordPress by default so that is likely the source of the issue. If you already switched the core files to disabled, and it’s still getting updated, we recommend disabling updates in your wp-config.php file. You can find instructions on how to do that, here:
