MattHi,
> Trouble is that now the damage is done.
I am sorry to hear about the difficulty you have been experiencing. I navigated to the site http://coastventures.us and all seemed to look fine and the links worked without issue. I am not sure what in the plugin could have caused issues without any errors or logs to point to.
For future reference, it is always a good idea to keep current and up to date backups of your site, especially if you are trying out a new plugin.

This plugin is not a theme but rather a Security plugin. It could also be possible that the issues you were having were the result of a plugin or theme conflict.
Thanks,
Matt
Hi,
Can you please enable the itsec debug and reset the scheduler to see if that corrects the issue?
To enable the Debug menu in iThemes Security Pro you will need to add the code below to your wp-config.php file.
define( ‘ITSEC_DEBUG’, true );
Be sure to add the code above the “That’s all happy blogging.” line.
Thanks,
Matt

Hi,
You may try disabling or adjusting the settings in the 404 detection feature to see if it helps.

Hi,
That scan will inform you if files are added, removed or changed. It sounds like it only added files. You can view the report to see if you recognize where the changes came from. If you just uploaded a new plugin or performed an update that may be the cause of the files being added.
Thanks,
Matt
Hi,
If the changes made are from an update there is no cause for concern.
If the changes made are unexpected, you can compare the changed file to those from a recent backup to see exactly what has changed.
You can exclude files and directories in the File Change Detection settings on the Settings page. The general rule is it’s okay to exclude ones that you know are going to be regularly updating. Backup and cache files are a perfect example of this. Doing so will calm a lot of the extra noise.
The plugin will only inform you of changes made (if modules are enabled) but it does not have the capability to inform you of any issues in regards to those changes.
Thanks,
Matt
Hi,
This should have been resolved this morning. That Grade Report is a Security Pro feature. We typically do not provide Pro support in the Support Forum as we have a ticket system for Security Pro members.
To get access to support for your products from now on, visit ithemes.com/support or log in to your iThemes Member Panel and click the “Support” tab.

Thanks,
Matt
iThemes.comHi,
There should not be much of an impact on load time when installing and activating the plugin. It is worth mentioning that the File Change Detection feature can be the most resource-hungry feature. So if you do find that the page is loading a bit slow I recommend either disabling or editing what that module checks for.
Thanks,
Matt

Hi,
You may try checking for a plugin conflict by deactivating all other plugins and see if that helps. If it does help, then reactivate the plugins one at a time to find the culprit(s), if any.
Can you also try switching to a default WordPress theme to see if that has any impact?

You may also install the Health Check plugin to help determine the cause of the issue.
