In reply to: [Meta for WooCommerce] Getting error when updating productHi @wwwnews,
Thanks for sharing the system status report. The report looks good.
Curl error 7 mainly occurs when the Network connection to a given host/port fails. It ends up in an error message like the one you are getting above.
Basically at that moment, for whatever reason, the plugin was not able to successfully connect and communicate with the Facebook API server before timing out.
Sometimes that’s caused by a firewall blocking connections, sometimes it’s caused by your IP being blocked by Facebook or, sometimes, there is an ISP between your server and Facebook that is broken.
As a next step, please reach out to your hosting support to see if they can find anything that would be preventing successful connection from your side.
We haven’t had many reports that I’m aware of for this error on our end, but please note I’m not ruling that possibility out completely.
It could be something like a security firewall or some sort of blacklisting preventing the connection from succeeding.
Please keep us posted.

In reply to: [Google Analytics for WooCommerce] Google .JSHi @senjoralfonso,
Our plugin is designed to work specifically with Google. Can you please explain a bit why you want to use another source instead of Google?
Hey @youngboy12,
Can you please confirm if the 2 open topics/threads are about the same problem?
Are you using WooCommerce PayPal Checkout Payment Gateway and WooCommerce PayPal Payments at the same time and facing the problem when one of them is only active?

In reply to: [WooCommerce] woocommerce order payment couponHi @aleksejsz,
WooCommerce applies coupons before taxes are applied. There’s not a built-in way to adjust this, especially for different tax rates. I’m also not aware of any extensions that would handle this for you.
https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/coupon-management/#section-8
You could hire a developer to create a plugin for you that does this. There are freelance developers at Codeable who could help you with this if you’d like to go that route.
I can also recommend the following places for more development-oriented questions:

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Products page 2 (and beyond) do not showHi Colin,
That behavior is indeed odd. The permalinks look okay, but it will only affect the product page.
What we are looking at here is a pagination problem. As a next step, I recommend a full conflict test as described here:
Keep us posted if the behavior persist from the conflict test.
Hi @godfather21 & @godfather21,
That is not something we expect to see. Let see how to resolve it, so you can get live automatic sync again.
Do you currently have all products set to
sync and show?If yes, make sure debugging is enabled for Facebook under:
Marketing > Facebookand try to trigger a manual sync under:Marketing > Facebook > Product sync.Give it a few minutes to “sync” then check the logs if the sync did not happen.
To find the generated logs:
1. Go to
WooCommerce > Status > Logs
2. In the top right corner, open the drop-down and select the Facebook for WooCommerce log that you need, then clickviewto load it. Here’s what that looks like: https://d.pr/i/tCljQd
3. Copy/paste the relevant part of the log into your response, so we can take a look.`Additionally, to make sure the sync is not happening, you can create a new product (Simple and physical product) then set it to
sync and showbefore attempting the manual trigger.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Meta for WooCommerce] You don’t have permission to edit these settingsHi @bpiotrowski0,
The error message suggests you have limited access to the Facebook assets you are trying to connect to.
Everything should ideally be owned by the same person/account. Are you logged in to the correct one?
You can also see if your account is listed in your Facebook Business Settings pages:
Facebook Business Settings → Pages → select the Page in question → go to the People tab
That’s where you can ensure the name is listed with the Manage Page toggle enabled.
Let me know if that helped.
Hi @kyarauk,
Do you have both PayPal Standard (the one built-in into WooCommerce) and PayPal Checkout enabled?
If yes, I recommend keeping only one of them enabled then test the behavior with a test order. You can check which payment gateways are enabled under:
WooCommerce > Settings > Payments.I also suggest that you check if you have set up any redirections relate to the checkout page.
Hi Laurence,
To better understand what’s happening, I’d like to take a look at your site’s logs.
To find the generated logs:
1. Go to
WooCommerce > Status > Logs
2. In the top right corner, open the drop-down and select the Braintree for WooCommerce Payment Gateway log that you need (time and date the order was placed), then clickviewto load it. Here’s what that looks like: https://d.pr/i/tCljQd
3. Copy/paste the relevant part of the log into your response so we can take a look.Forum: Reviews
