Yes, you can do! Simply you go to BackupGuard settings section where you can see the respective option called “Exclude paths”. Add comma separated paths there (e.g. wp-content/cache1, wp-content/cache2).

You are free to change your plan at any time based on your needs and requirements. Could you please checkout the following directory after extraction: “/the-path-where-you-extracted-the-archive/wp-content/uploads/backup-guard/the-backup-name-you-just-extracted/“. If you’ve created a full or database backup, then the respective database SQL file should be located there.

BackupGuard, Support TeamIf you configure your new instance as the previous one, I mean if you keep 1) the same table prefix and 2) the domain name structure (e.g. from http://yoursite.com to http://www.yoursite.com) constant everything should be fine. If you could send me your restore log file I could analyze it for you.

There’re just 2 simple migration scenarios:
- If database table prefix was changed
- If domain name was changed
What’s your case? If you keep these two inputs constant, then you can restore your archive using Free version. Migration isn’t just restoration. It takes places after restoration to make your database compatible with the new environment.

I’m pretty sure the issue is related to the low level memory server configuration. Ask your hosting to increase this configuration for you, then try again. I think you shouldn’t fail this time!

Do you mean the archives were automatically disappeared? Are you sure you didn’t manually delete anything from your FTP or database? Could you please check this directory: “wp-content/uploads/backup-guard/”? Is it empty?
