In reply to: [JetBackup - Backup, Restore & Migrate] What is the point!@maretta, if you’ve not received any warning/error during backup process, definitely you can restore your backup archive. If you faced an alert with false message, this could be due to conflicts with other plugins. To troubleshoot this, simply disable all your plugins and restore the backup once again. I’m pretty sure everything will end up as supposed to. Please check this and keep me posted about your progress.

In reply to: [JetBackup - Backup, Restore & Migrate] Back ups are large now@fernandolawl, you’re not required to specify “backup-guard” directory as excluded. By default it’s being excluded. But regarding other directories where backup archives could be stored, you’re completely right. Such directories should be definitely excluded!

In reply to: [JetBackup - Backup, Restore & Migrate] Back ups are large nowDear @fernandolawl,
I didn’t understand what’s the problem there? BackupGuard supports large websites with big databases. Did you face an issue or what’s your concern regarding this?
Regards,
Lisa Breen@1stclasspaintinganddecorating try to uninstall & re-install the plugin. This should resolve your issue.
Regards,
Lisa BreenDear @ imanfiqrie,
Generally this problem appears due to the configurations set in wp-config.php. If you add this line in your wp-config.php you’ll get rid of the FTP prompt during installation:
define('FS_METHOD', 'direct');Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [JetBackup - Backup, Restore & Migrate] Max file size exceededDear @gemkelgem,
If you have upload_max_filesize limitation on your server configurations, you have two options to go with:
1. Ask your hosting provider to increase that configuration for you
2. You can upload the plugin using an FTP client. Connect with your FTP client (e.g. FileZilla or Cyberduck), uncompress backup-guard-pro.zip zip archive and upload the entire extracted directory to “/wp-content/plugins/” directory. Afterwards, you’ll see “Backup Guard Pro” plugin appeared on your WordPress dashboard (see the Plugins section). Simply activate it and you’re ready to go
