Dear @fernandolawl,
I didn’t understand what’s the problem there? BackupGuard supports large websites with big databases. Did you face an issue or what’s your concern regarding this?

Hi @fernandolawl,
Have you excluded your backup folder(s) in the Settings panel? Sounds like maybe your backups are getting bigger because you’re backing up your backups? You don’t want to do that. Be sure to exclude all backup folders including wp-content/uploads/backup-guard where BG backups are stored. I had that happen to me once with a different plugin, and it stopped backing up altogether when the backups got over 1G. It’s why I switched to BackupGuard
@fernandolawl, you’re not required to specify “backup-guard” directory as excluded. By default it’s being excluded. But regarding other directories where backup archives could be stored, you’re completely right. Such directories should be definitely excluded!
Hi @evasmom and @backupguard
I did your recommendations. They seemed to do the trick for all but one site (Thank you thank you thank you!!!). I’m having a problem with https://tinyurl.com/hlfrq3x
Hoping for any other recommendations.
Thanks!
@fernandolawl, could you please open a support ticket and send me your log file to let me analyze it: https://backup-guard.com/products/backup-wordpress/support-p2p
