I completely understand your point of view and I’m sorry if our popup left a bad impression. But we are not forcing you to insert our seal in your website, neither we are advertising that constantly.
The popup gets shown only once, so you will not see it again.
Please also understand that this is a temporary popup, and it’s purpose is to let everyone know about our new widget.Please contact us at support@backup-guard.com and I’m sure we can talk and reach a mutual agreement, to leave the impression we intended in first place

Our scheduled tasks are dependant from WordPress and that is why there is no way to get around without WordPress. In this case solution can be to replace wp cron with cpanel cron. Here you can find how to do such thing.
