BackupGuard – My hosting service does not support Cron | WordPress.org

Hello,
I have a gold licence and use Google Drive as a storage. Manually, it is just fine (good job on how easy it is to use !).
However, I want to schedule backups and when trying, BackupGuard informs me that my hosting service (“Gandi”) doesn’t support cron. Is there a solution ? They say they can run something called “anacron”…

Our scheduled tasks are dependant from WordPress and that is why there is no way to get around without WordPress. In this case solution can be to replace wp cron with cpanel cron. Here you can find how to do such thing.

If WP user’s hosting doesn’t support Cron, or its Cron service is crap, we can try https://www.easycron.com or WP plugin at https://wordpress.org/plugins/easycron/, extremely easy to use!
