Unfortunately I just don’t have the time to debug how other plugins interact with this plugin. If you can provide some more detailed information on the issue I can try to take a look.
It would be extremely helpful if you can provide detailed steps to reproduce the issue so I can test.
So you want a post to expire, but not change anything?
Is this still an ongoing issue? I have tried this on various other machines with no luck reproducing.
If you have something that’s close, i’m happy to take a look and potentially add it into the plugin.
There may be a french translation out there, but its not anything I have in my possession. I am more than willing to hear suggestions on how other plugin others deal with collecting and managing translations for their plugins!
Is this still happening or did the release today solve this?
What does the debug logs say for your installations?
Are you scheduling an event for the post deletion? Older versions of the plugins just looked at the meta value. Since 2.0, each post that is expired schedules a unique event to expire the post.
Your import process would need to call the _scheduleExpiratorEvent function to make sure the imported posts are scheduled correctly.
Feel free to ass this as a feature request, but currently it only shows up on the editing screen under the post expirator widget.
I’m more than happy to hear any suggestions that you have for the plugin. But posts like this are not really helpful for anyone.
Version 2.1.3 is on its way, should fix the issue. Sorry for the trouble everyone!
Are you all using wpengine? I have not yet been able to reproduce the issue.
I have tried to recreate this on a few different windows 8.1 machines with chrome 33, and it has not been reproducible. The issue must be something specific to your plugins.
In the video you sent, the style of the browser does not look right – do you have something other than stock chrome setup? Have you tried disabling other plugins to see if there is a conflict?
What was the specific browser/os that you made that recording in?
The plugin simply updates the post as specified. It does not do anything else to account for SEO.
