It is not possible to play video up to specific time.
Self-hosted videos can only be added as background videos. And they will not be played in a video player, so there is no possibility of pausing them.
We can make a plan to do that on our next major update. This major update is so professional and it has some new features, however, it will not happen soon and we cannot say when it will be.Thanks for your patience and understanding.

If you are using Master Slider Pro, please go to Slider Settings -> General Settings and set Slider sizing method to Auto size width and height to fill slider parent element. Also, add #main to Auto fill to element

You cannot remove those black borders. They will appear automatically when the ratio of your video is different with slider ration. Or you can use Video Background.

I guess there is a conflict between your plugins.
Please deactivate all the installed plugins, then reactivate them one by one. After activating each plugin, check out and see if the issue persists.
If the problem persists, you can select the default theme and check out again. It’s possible that your theme is causing an issue.Please let me know the result.

There is no option available to change the tabs/thumbs styles. However, it is not that hard to change the style with custom code. The classname of tabs/thumbs in Master Slider is
.ms-thumb-frameand for active tabs, the classname is.ms-thumb-frame-selectedFor example, you can use them in this way to give them style:
