yes, i’d tried it on another WP-Site with very less plugins onboard and did see really that there does all work fine, no errors! 🙂

if you had got some “lightbox”-plugin workin allready, you simply have to change the following nearly similar original codeline and add a usual:
rel='lightbox'
so there will be written finally:

ich hatte übersehen, dass das Problem von dem Plugin “WPSupersized” ausging!
Da die WPSupersized-Einstellungen sich u. A. auch auf die gewünschte “NextGEN gallery to use” bezogen und die “Warning”-Meldungen direkt darunter aufgeführt wurden, sah es für mich zunächst irrigerweise so aus, als sei das Problem durch NextGEN verursacht. Sorry.ps: die kleine aber feine Lösung meines Problems steht hier, bei dem Beitrag von “unine” 🙂

jedenfalls sowas Ähnliches.in meiner php.ini steht “
open_basedir = /home/www/web20/“
daher versteh ich die Fehlermeldung nicht …:
"Warning: is_dir() [function.is-dir]: open_basedir restriction in effect. File(/home/www/web20/html/blog/wp-content/gallery/verzeichnis/r0014378.jpg/) is not within the allowed path(s): (/home/www/web20/)"Kann uns da bitte jmd. nen kleinen Tipp geben?

it isn’t anymore in the plugin version i did use …inbetween i do use this nomore
but the „Random Image block”since i use the modification i believe to notice a before not given conflict with another since well coexisting plugin named “random image widget”‘ and its functionality.
this formerly did link from the given random image to its specific image attachment-page – now it alternatively does link only to the picture or refers the homepage url & does refresh the page itself + renews the thumb.
ok, ok – i shouldn’t could get all of that i want … 😉ha!
‘ve got it:modify the “yasg.php” @ line 97 to:
$css_visibility = (count($slides) < 9)?'visible':'hidden' .($gallery .= "<p class=\"navArrows next\"><img src=\"" . WP_PLUGIN_URL . "/yet-another-simple-gallery/images/next.png\" width=\"10px\" height=\"20px\" alt=\"next\" title=\"vor\" class=\"arrow\" id=\"next_$post_id\" /></p>");add. advice: count of slides ( < 9) depends on your layout how many slides are to be seen!

i having less than the max. count of thumbs similar to the width of the large image above the arrows allready appear – but in this case they are senseless and should represent an irritating feature without use. how it should be possible to hide them if there are less thumbs?
ps: i’m sad that the plugin-author not likes to respond to any of the questions for support since days ore weeks, what’s the matter? this gallery-plugin is fine, but it will e more satisfying with a minimum of support … 🙂

i’d found the plugin “Unattach and Re-attach Media Attachments” – it allows to unattach and reattach images and other attachments from within the media library page.
But only from within there!and only usefull in the contxt above, if there is a existing gallery allready … then you can attach oder “unattach” pictures
what you think about possibilty of implemetation a “Unattach and Re-attach” functionality into yasg?
