… so i did downgrade to V. 2.9.1, and switch-off the fullscreen-mode button.
I tried again to use the player correctly configured without full-screen-button
result: as long as I was logged in, it worked in 9:16 format – after logut no more!
There are only 1:9 format thumbnails with a start button to see, but they don’t work!
What’s wrong with the new version html5-video-player.2.10.1?!

oh, sorry, I was on vacation – thanks for reply!
but in the meantime i’d disabled the Html5 Video Player and did use the build-in-player of wordpress without fullscreen-mode ability.
so you’ were unable to test the fullscreen-mode/-problem.
But unfortunately the build-in-player do have the same fault if changing to fullscreen-mode.
i’m unable to add a pict here.
you can see for yourself:
there are two vids on the site, the first little one does stay using the build-in-player –
the 2. is right now using Html5 Video Player shortcode – please view this one!
I’m working on macos, using browsers as like Firefox, Vivaldi …
A test on Win 10 using Firefox + Vivaldi shows the video is not displayed in 9:16 but only a small 16:9
and sadly,: not working!

I’d found a provisional solution by using a table with 3 columns, placing the video in the middle, that’s how it works 🙂

But the recovery mode of WP to login didn’t work for me.
So i deactivated Security Ninja (Version 5.214) via ftp. Will look to find the previous version …

but, which ajaxrating plugin i should take? there are so many …
and they i’d a try didn’t recognize or import given ratings (if they are stored in database?) so they start emptythanks a lot – found.
but the (by storefront or wp ?) inserted link to „details“ (= https://wordpress.org/themes/storefront/) in the wp-theme-section doesn’t link this target anywhere – has to be improved!

In reply to: [Storefront] Language problem – some translated, some notthink thats like the undestroyable – hmm: untranslated “storefront-sticky-add-to-cart__content”: You’re viewing: … i’d ask for support, they said i can change that by using “Loco translate”-plugin but i didn’t found it anywhere in the lang-files … – Edit: found it now in the lang-file – but i had to synchronize first my used lang-file with the storefront lang po, after that i added the right one translation to this item and it’s fine now! 🙂
if anyone is interested, i’d got answers from Automattic where to get the release notes.

but sorry have to tell:although had the “Sync” button in Loco Translate pushed, can’t find this string (or parts of it) in the ” woocommerce-de_DE_formal.po ”
sadly don’t know what doing wrong.
