In reply to: Can't get to dashboard of addon subdomain multisitesHi, I’m currently experiencing this exact issue except it started just today after more than 6 months working with multisite without problems.
I recently installed W3 Total Cache plugin and had it running perfectly on my main domain, however I also activated it for each of my subdomains and now I can’t access the subdomain’s dashboards.
I have since uninstalled the plugin and tried to access the dashboards, but it’s not working. All I get when I try to access is redirect from wp-admin to wp-login, as if I’d never tried to log in in the first place.
The only instance where this doesn’t occur is with the subdomain that has Buddypress as the root. When I try to log in on that one, it just takes me to that site’s index page.
This issue is ocurring to me as well. I have uploaded all my attachments, but some of them don’t show in the site. Furthermore my unsuccessful transfer queue is empty (uploading of custom files, theme files, etc went to 100% completion without disruption)

In reply to: [YouTube] YouTube oEmbed auto-resizes to the wrong sizeThis is a recurring issue indeed. Whenever I use oEmbed the video is displayed with the proper width (as I have it in the media settings of the dashboard), but the height of the video is weird, so that the video isn’t shown completely.
I must mention that I didn’t put a value under the “height” in the media settings of the dashboard. This is because I thought the oEmbed would adjust the height to whatever the width was just in case the video’s ratio was 4:3 instead of 16:9

In reply to: Admin bar CSSyup, I did, but got no answer. If you install WordPress Multisite you can run the Buddypress plugin as a network plugin, and it will replace the default WP Admin Bar both in the wp dashboard and the sites as well (depending on your settings.

In reply to: Admin bar CSSThank you very much for the reply, however I would like to know what’s the selector for the body in the wp-admin?
That way i can just put in a “padding-top:25px;” on it and it’ll move the body down so that the admin bar is no longer overlapping anything.

In reply to: Admin bar CSSActually I just want to know how to globally edit the wp-admin css for a WordPress multisite. I recently activated Buddypress on the network and the admin bar it comes with is overlapping all my dashboards.

In reply to: Unable to upload avatars in BuddypressAlso, i’m on Dreamhost, which means that the address BP is trying to use to create the directory is wrong (it doesn’t start with “/var/www/”, is there a way to change this?

In reply to: Buddypress Admin Bar Overlapping DashboardThank you for your reply!
I network deactivated all plugins except Buddypress, then I went to one of the multisite dashboards and deactivated all the plugins there. I switched to the bp-default theme (in that dashboard) and then I cleared cache, but still the issue remains.
It’s weird how it only happens with the dashboard and not the live site. Maybe there’s a CSS hook the wp-admin bar is not getting?

In reply to: [Social Connect] [Plugin: Social Connect] Facebook avatar not showing upI was using Intense Debate, but since it doesn’t have support for users on a self-hosted installation, I’m now looking on how to do my own alternative to it.
The issue with the Facebook avatar and Twitter could be put aside, but I’m still having problems when I try to log in using Twitter or WordPress and I get the errors I mentioned earlier, so now I’m at odds.
It’s a really good plugin, but it’s still buggy for me.

In reply to: [Social Connect] [Plugin: Social Connect] Facebook avatar not showing upAwesome! I got Twitter working (turns out the callback URL was wrong in the app), however, just like Facebook, it’s missing the avatar when I comment.
Still no way to work with the WordPress.com login either.

In reply to: [Social Connect] [Plugin: Social Connect] Facebook avatar not showing upAlso, when trying to log onto WordPress.com, it asks for my address and when I input the info and click proceed it just shows a new window with a text message referring me to log in from wordpress.com

In reply to: [Social Connect] [Plugin: Social Connect] Facebook avatar not showing upAlso, just checked it, but after I logged in and then logged out from Facebook I tried going in with Twitter and I get a prompt asking me if I’ll use the same account or not.
If I click on “Use another account”, the new popup just shows my website instead of a login to Twitter. Same thing happens with WordPress and OpenID logins too.
Hm… I think I figured out what it is thanks to this thread right here:
Apparently it’s an issue with my WP and phpBB installs not being in the same database. I don’t know if aigan’s patch solves this though, as all I really need is for the plugin to recognize the path from phpBB to my WP install.
Hi there, I’m having some problems to configure the original plugin. I got the path from WordPress to PHPbb to work, however I can’t seem to get the opposite to work.
both my WordPress and PHPbb instalations are in the root of my server, so the path from WP to PHPbb is “../forumdirectory”. I figured that the same would apply the other way around, but it’s not working even when I go “../sitedirectory”.
Any help, please?

In reply to: [WP-Cycle] [Plugin: WP-Cycle] Cycle Images enlarged/stretched when changedHey guys, I was having the same issue as you, but then I figured out that when you try uploading the images and then change the size of the image in the settings, the program doesn’t get it properly.
In other words, you have to set the size of your images in WP-Cycle before uploading the images in order for them to be displayed correctly.
Hope this helps!
