Also, how can you tell who created a particular theme? I’m looking inside my blog right now to see more about what you taught me and I was thinking if I could find who made the theme, maybe they might have an upgrade to the theme? I’ve not seen an upgrade to this particular theme since I started using it 3 years ago, although I do see upgrades come in for themes being supplied through the services the website is tied into as far as theme offerings are concerned.

Maybe someone also has an update to this theme I’m using? Mine as well try to find out I figure.

Well, then the guys at tech support with the hosting were not clear enough on explaining to me what to do.

Anyway, this fellow Raul says he is going to look into it and I gave him the log in information to see if he can correct the code issues for now. They have addressed this issue before I might add, which is why I asked them to check it again, because they are a bright bunch of young guys. I’m 60 and these guys are in their early 30’s. There is too much to learn with all this stuff and I have my hands full building the online business I’ve been working the past three years to delve into all of this stuff. That is why tech support is so important in this world of ours. There simply is too much to know and I’m not looking to complete with God’s position in the Universe, let alone have to do all this stuff by myself as one man.

Anyway, thanks for clarifying that some more. Let’s see what this fellow at GVO can do to clear up the problem for me and also if anyone else chimes in to this post so I can learn what I can at this hour so I can get this cleared up and just keep moving forward.

I’ve decided to remove the program and just download my user emails as a CVS file. That way I can use my Sendblaster program and know that my subscribers are getting my ads. My plate has been too full of problems with the tech stuff this year alone and I don’t have the hours in the day to play with it all. I didn’t create an online business to be a tech. My job is to make money. It’s that simple. I just need to put the key in the car and go these days when it comes t the tech stuff.

I also wouldn’t be so quick to blame the user. I have no control over GVO who I’m hooked up to either, nor do I have time to play this this with their tech guys. They are swamped each day as it is and sometimes it takes an hour just to get through the chat service, let alone the time it takes to get to a ticket issue.

This whole year has been too much fiddling with all this tech stuff. You should see the list of people I’ve had to contact this year alone, because their programs have problems. Normally they can offer a fairly fast solution. If the problem goes on too long with a plug in, I just give it up. I don’t have the time. Too much to do each day as it is.

I did like your program by the way. One of the features I liked the most was that it offered URL links for each product offering allowing each product to be sent to my subscribers in one blast. Great feature! But after our talk, I don’t even know if I’ve been reaching them for five months using your program and that got me angry. I told you my situation and I can’t afford to lose time.

One of my CDbaby covers, The Airwolf Theme Music (remix) has been selling steadily on its own for the past 3 years and if I can find a way to make that go viral, I’ll be out of the financial mess the world put me into. If that also happens I think a number of my other musical works will take off along with it, but I need reliable ways of reaching my subscriber base along with my cold calling. Too many people taking and no one giving back to me these past two decades devastated me financially, but you got my summary on what happened to me.

If you ever create an upgrade to your program that doesn’t require so much fiddling, I’d be happy to use it and as long as I know it is reaching my clientele, I don’t mind paying donations. When I make money, you make money and not until then. That’s been my policy in business for decades with everyone I work with. I need guarantees in other words, not empty promises. That way I weed out those that are full of it from the people who will really help me succeed with my business. Slowly I’m gaining that kind of contact base, but it is taking a lot of weeding. Too many people are full of shit when it comes to marketing and making conversions happen I other words. It’ quite an uphill battle.

This is interesting, I tried using the notify users link on one of my posted products and I did get the debug screen, but it says it sent to all 1675 user names when I only selected one name with the highlight bar. So is it sending to all my users when I select just one user name or no? I thought you had to highlight all the users in the list when using that feature before sending or am I wrong?
