Hi,
Sorry for the delay during the weekend.
If your having a problem with your backup please can you send us the backup log via a service like pastebin or Dropbox, as the contents will be to big to share here.
If you have another problem please open your own support request and provide the error message your getting and anything relevent from your WordPress or PHP error log.

Hi,
Sorry about the delay.
You can toggle the “locked” status of a backup.
In the existing backups table in your UpdraftPlus settings, if you double click the date for the backup you want to toggle the “locked” status.
That should open a modal with a checkbox for the “locked” status.

In reply to: [UpdraftPlus: WP Backup & Migration Plugin] Cannot back up to remote storageHi both,
Sorry about the delay on this.
There is currently a bug with the latest release where the secondary checkboxes are not checked by default.
This only affects manual backups, any scheduled backups will work as expected.

Hi,
The wipe settings button will not affect your stored backups.
Yes could you try this, then setup your UpdraftPLus settings again.

Hi,
It’s the expected behaviour to upload your backup in chunks, this is how the Google Drive API works and it enables you to upload very large files, which some backups can get quite large.
Could you send us a copy of the backup log, it will be to long to paste here but you can use a service like pastbin.

Hi,
In your UpdraftPlus settings in the list of possible remote storage locations have you selected Google Drive, the option should be highlighted in blue.

Hi both,
When taking a manual backup you should see an option labeled:
“Send this backup to remote storage”
If you don’t want to send a backup to remote storage when doing a manual backup uncheck this option.
Now if you do want to send to remote storage when doing a manual backup, there is currently a bug with the current release.
Next to the send to remote storage option there should be a “…” if you click this it will show all your connected remote storage options.
In the current release theres a bug which means theres are not checked by default which is causing the “no storage locations have been selected” message, just select the remote storage location you want to backup to and it will work.
A new release will be out soon that fixes this.

In reply to: [UpdraftPlus: WP Backup & Migration Plugin] Dropbox connection failHi,
I’ve looked into this and so far can’t find any conflict between UpdraftPlus and Jetpack.
I’m only using the free version of JetPack.
Are you on a paid version that gives you extra options?
Can you look through your JetPack options and check what features / options you have enabled and let me know so I can try the same.

Hi all,
Can you open the developer console and take a screenshot of it share it’s contents here
It sounds like the javascript isn’t running or theres an error, possibly caused by a plugin conflict or partially installed plugin.

In reply to: [UpdraftPlus: WP Backup & Migration Plugin] So, where are my backups?Hi,
Sorry to hear that.
Your backups will be saved where you set them to save.
If you didn’t setup remote storage then they would be saved on your server in wp-content/updraft
If you did setup remote storage e.g Dropbox, Google Drive then it will be saved at the remote storage you setup.

In reply to: [UpdraftPlus: WP Backup & Migration Plugin] Showing incorrectlyHi,
First ensure that the plugin is correctly installed and no files are missing.
This is probably caused by another plugin loading their CSS on our page.
You could try disabling all other plugins and checking if it’s working as expecting, then enable each plugin one by one to see which causes the conflict.

In reply to: [UpdraftPlus: WP Backup & Migration Plugin] Dropbox connection failThank you, I will investigate the conflict between UpdraftPlus and Jetpack and work out why you get logged out with Jetpack installed and see if theres anything that can be done.

Hi,
Can you check your PHP and Apache logs for the errors please, then report back here.
It could be that the server has low resources and running the backup uses them all, in which case you would need to speak to your hosts.

Ashley
