In reply to: Import from BloggerGoogle recently changed their API. To fix the WordPress 2.2 Blogger Importer, search wp-admin/import/blogger.php for

In reply to: API Key for websites hosted by sites other than wordpress.com?No, the plugin does not care about the user accounts on your self-hosted WordPress install. Call them anything you like. What matters is that you must have a WordPress.com account, that account’s API key must be known to the plugin, and you must be logged into that account in order to see your stats.
“Logged in” doesn’t mean “visiting wordpress.com”. It means you have visited and logged in so that the cookies are in your browser. If you do not log in with “remember me” or your browser won’t store the cookies between sessions, you will not still be logged in after a browser restart.
I use external stats and this is never a problem for me with Firefox and using “remember me” on WordPress.com. It keeps me logged in indefinitely.

In reply to: Stats plug-in giving inconsistent resultsThere are many pages, including the home page, which are not listed in the Top Posts list. Thus it will probably never add up to the number of hits that day.
