Hey there,
One way of fixing this would be to change the translation from the DB.
Here is a small tutorial on how to clear the translation. You can use it to make sure the translated content is not wrapped in “#!trpst#”
https://www.berrycast.com/conversations/26e8b9cf-8334-5ef5-b248-4f2d57cbcb64This is a more difficult tutorial so if you see anything that you don’t understand and need more information – please let us know.

Greetings,
Have you tried switching to a default theme like twenty-twenty?
I think this might be the root of your issue. Also please send a link to your website so I can have a look myself.

Hey there,
Thanks for reaching out to us.
I did answer your other submitted ticket but it was already marked as ‘Resolved’.
https://wordpress.org/support/topic/my-current-country-language-is-not-translated/Since this looks a lot like a conflict with some other code, the first/next recommended step is the conflict test (ideally in a staging environment):
*Briefly* disable all other plugins and enable the default Twenty Twenty theme. Please also disable all add-ons. If this fixes the problem, as it probably will, enable everything one by one, checking each time to see when the problem returns.
Please let us know when you find the conflict so that we can take a look and see what we can do about it.

Hello there,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
Our plugin works with individual strings. Any change in the original will invalidate the translation, as the original string is no longer found.
That’s why we offer those same strings as a possible translation if the originals are similar enough. Currently there is no way for us to be 100% sure you’re editing the same string, so we don’t serve the similar string translation automatically.
Unfortunately there is no other way of fixing this.
Let me know if you have any other questions.

Hello there,
Thanks for reaching out to us about your issue.
You should be able to translate those certain slugs under the string translation at the bottom of the translation editor.
You can find more details on that here:https://translatepress.com/yoast-seo-multilingual-tutorial/ .
Let me know if you need further help with your issue.

Hey there,
Thanks for reaching out to us about your problem.
The 500 error is a very general server error.
One of the first web search results says that “The 500 Internal Server Error is a very general HTTP status code that means something has gone wrong on the web site’s server but the server could not be more specific on what the exact problem is.”
To debug this further, please follow these steps:
1. Ask your host to identify this specific error and/or for the PHP error log.
2. Try and increase your WordPress memory limit: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/increasing-the-wordpress-memory-limit/
3. set WP_DEBUG to true in wp_config.php file: https://codex.wordpress.org/WP_DEBUG and try again. See if you get any errors.
4. Check if you have duplicate entries in your *trp_* tables from the database. If you do, you can use the Remove duplicate rows option from TP Settings –> Advanced tab to clear them.
5. Try to do a conflict test (ideally in a staging environment):
*Briefly* disable all other plugins and enable the default Twenty Twenty theme. Please also disable all add-ons. If this fixes the problem, enable everything one by one, checking each time to see when the problem returns. Please let us know when you find the conflict so that we can take a look and see what we can do about it.

Hello there,
You should be able to translate the content of a dropdown menu.
To do this, you will have to search the menu items inside the Strings List that’s available under the current language at the top of the translation interface. Each menu item will be seen as a different string in the String list.Best Regards,
Hello there,
We don’t have a proper solution when it comes to these broken strings. These strings can occur from many causes.
Due to the way TP works and the variety of plugins that exist on the market at the moment, such bugs are very difficult to controlTry adding these strings (in the original form) in the Exclude Gettext String option from TP Settings –> Advanced tab. Leave domain textbox empty. Clear your cache also.
This should get rid of the #trpst wrappings. However, if the issue will persist, a compatibility test is recommended. *Briefly* disable all other plugins, except TP and the plugin that adds that popup, and enable the default Twenty Twenty theme. Please also disable all add-ons. If this fixes the problem, enable everything one by one or in bulk, checking each time to see when the problem returns.
Also please provide a link to your website so I can test the problem myself.
Kind Regards,
Hey there,
We deeply apologize for the delayed response.
There has been a great load on our support team in the past few days, but such a long reply time is very uncommon.
Are you using by any chance PHP 8? Sometimes we do encounter issues because of it that might be related here.
If that’s not it then I suggest you make both mentioned plugins with the default language dutch and check for any improvement.
Best Regards.

Did manage to solve this problem or still need any help?

Hello there,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
If you only have the German version of this file then your best approach would be to add the specified link to Do not translate certain paths under the Advanced TranslatePress settings.
Let me know if you have any further questions.

Hey there,
Thanks for reaching out to us about your problem.
Do you use the Automatic User Language Detection Addon? If yes what method of Language Detection are you using?
Would you also mind sending a link to your website so I can further investigate?
Looking forward to your reply.
