In reply to: [WooCommerce Stripe Payment Gateway] Breaks down every other monthHi Frank,
Thank you for your reply. I have since disabled the plugin. I understand how difficult it is to debug when you don’t have more information, but I will not be reinstalling WooCommerce or related plugins at this time.
Kind regards, Diana
I’ve found the cause.
I have no WordPress caching plugins, but on the hosting side there was nginx caching after all. Didn’t affect the blog page, only the static homepage… I had to install the nginx wp caching plugin to purge cache.
Thank you for your quick responses
Kind regards,
Diana
Thank you kindly for your reply.I’ve tried to clear and disable the customizer cache. Unfortunately that doesn’t help.
I’ve emailed you the requested data. I’m using the latest version of the themes.
The new blog link is visible on blog but not on homepage right now. I don’t know how long that’ll be the case, because the last blog I published did eventually come through.
Since the post does show up eventually, it’s not a big deal, I’m happy to keep using the theme.
Thank you for your quick response.
Kind regards,
Diana

In reply to: [Flower Shop: Florist] BugsYes, it’s working fine. I guess reinstalling the theme did resolve it.
It was unrelated to my being on 4G after all.
Thanks for your quick replies. Marking this as resolved.

In reply to: [Flower Shop: Florist] BugsHi, I’m using the latest version.
I just reinstalled it using my phone to share the site url with you and discovered that on 4G the site loads. I suspect there might be some (remote?) content being blocked by our network security. (Your Wedding Photography theme works without issues.)
Kind regards,
Diana

In reply to: [Category Posts in Custom Menu] Compatibility with Max Mega MenuHi, thanks for your message.
I don’t use Max Mega Menu myself, but my plugin should be nice to other plugins. Whether other plugins are nice in return, I can’t say.
Every plugin that changes the menu, passes the menu on to the next plugin. If they do that properly, every plugin gets its turn and does its thing.
This is I guess a lengthy way of saying: You’ll just have to try.
Happy holidays.
Kind regards,
Diana

Hi Manu,
did you figure out what caused your theme to limit the nesting depth?
(If no reply is forthcoming from your end, I’ll mark this as resolved.)
Kind regards,
DianaAt first glance this looks like a theme issue. Could it be that it has a maximum menu depth that it renders/supports? You can test this by manually adding menu items several layers deep and seeing what happens then..
Kind regards,
DianaHi Dorian,
in that case, the Salient theme probably also makes changes to the menu structure. This usually shouldn’t cause problems, but there could be a conflict if Salient theme builds a menu structure that does not contain the data my CPCM plugin needs in order to do its work. You could consider opening a support ticket with the Salient team developers, hopefully they’re willing to look into it.
Kind regards,
DianaA theme called “Salient” does not exist in the WordPress.org themes directory, which probably means it’s a paid theme. I can’t provide support on paid themes. Can you reproduce the issue with the “Twenty Twenty-One” theme? Please see my reply above.
Hi Manu,
thank you for your message. I’ve just double checked and as far as I can tell the plugin works fine at any nested menu level depth. Here’s how I verified it:
- Disabled all WordPress plugins except CPCM
- Installed and activated the Twenty Twenty-One theme
- Created a new Category “Category A”
- Created a new Post “Post 1” in “Category A”
- Created a new Post “Post 2″ in “Category A”
- Via Appearance > Menus, added Sample page six times, each one below the other. Also, added “Category A” below each occurrence of “Sample page” in the menu
- I’ve checked the checkbox to show the posts in all occurrences of the category
- On all levels the posts are shown.
Could you disable all other plugins and revert to a standard WordPress theme? If the issue persists, I need your help to rebuild your exact case in my test environment.
Kind regards,
Diana
