I already have 2 installations of wordpress on this server with the same issue! If this issue is caused by the hosting server, what could be the reason behind it depending on your experience? Is it related to security settings for example? What else can I check other than the memory limits which wasn’t the problem?

Thanks for your quick reply! I did that but the problem is still there… I tried the plugin on a newer version of firefox and it didn’t appear! Is it a firefox version problem or another requirement or specified setting that I didn’t have on the other older version?

Hi Vinod,

Actually I only have “Buddypress” & “Buddypress Activity Plus” plugins on the test site I sent you. I didn’t install any other plugin.

I tried other themes including Twenty Twelve but still the same problem 🙁 It cannot be folder permissions issue, right?

Thanks for your reply! Actually I already checked the allow_url_fopen and it’s ON + When I put a youtube video URL in a post, it remains as a link. Maybe it’s an oEmbed issue but if so, what can I do to solve it?

Thanks for your support! Yes actually, I’m using the same theme & the same plugins on both the local & the live installation.
I’ve even done a fresh installation on the live server with only “Buddypress” & “Buddypress Activity Plus” plugins installed & still the same problem.

Hi dear,

I have the last version of WP, BP & BP activity plus. The strange thing is that it works fine on the local installation (the one on my laptop) while it doesn’t on the live server that I’m setting (same error: There has been an error processing your request).

Is there any specific setting that I have to be aware of? The problem is not in the video link, any link doesn’t work.. I tried many.
