    Oh, it’s working for me now too . . . I thought I cleared the cache. Ah well, glad it’s working! Thanks for the help!

    Hi there, thanks for getting back to me.

    I removed the “display: none” but it’s still not showing.

    Hi,

    Thanks for getting back to me. Using [testimonialswidget_list] I am just trying to display the entire testimonial on a page. In my test page, the shortcode doesn’t display anything. However, using firebug I can see that there is some styling going on with this: `.testimonialswidget_paging {
    clear: both;
    font-weight: 700;
    height: 1.4em;`
    }

    Also, using firebug the divs for each of the testimonials are visible, but the testimonials themselves are not.

    And I turned off the Under Construction plugin so you should be able to access the page now at http://elitehomessandiego.com/test/

    Okay, I’ll poke around and see what can come up with. Just to be sure I’m understanding, as it is now there is no way to share a Wall post from inside face using the output of this plugin?

    When a post is added to facebook via the plugin, it doesn’t include a “share” link on the Wall post. Instead it includes a “read post” link. But when you add a post manually to the Wall it does include the “share” link.

    In order to encourage sharing, I’m wondering if it’s possible to have the “share” instead, or in addition to, the “read post” link.

    Basically, what I’m hoping to use your plugin to replicate exactly what happens with a manual addition to the Wall.

    Is this just something that’s not possible? I’ve been manually adding links to my fan page, but I’d love to be able to automate that and use this great plugin.

    Okay, so I see it is possible for the “share” link to appear but only if the link is manually added. Is there a code tweak that I can implement to so that a “share” button is always included when publishing to facebook automatically using your plugin? And, while we’re at it to have the links appear in a new tab? Basically, I’m looking to replicate the options you get in facebook when you manually add a link.

    Hi there,

    It’s really easy, and you don’t need to edit any files. All you have to do is download the skin you want from Longtail Video, unzip the file, and use WordPress to upload the Shockwave Flash Object file inside of that unzipped folder (just that one file, not the entire folder). Then, once you’ve uploaded that SWF file, copy the url of that file. Then, just go to Settings/wordtube/Layout and paste the file’s url into the “Skin File” field. Then save the settings, and you should be good to go.

    It took me a week to figure this out. I searched all over trying to figure out which files to edit and which code to insert. But none of that is necessary. It’s just upload, copy, paste, and save. I have no idea why it was so non-intuitive for me, but once I figured it out it seemed the simplest thing in the world to do.

    I hope this helps.

    Thanks for getting back to me. I combed through the style sheets both under the NextGen dashboard and through the downloaded stylesheets as well, but I can’t seem to find exactly where to make the changes. I can alter the display itself, but I can’t find the hover info (other than the font color selections offered under Options/Slideshow).

    I’ll keep poking around, but if anyone knows which stylesheet to change, and where, I’d still really appreciate it.

    Okay, I’ve uploaded the skin onto my server and then posted the URL into the skins field under wordtube/settings/layout. Do I need to do anything else? The skin isn’t showing up. Any help with this would really be appreciated. I haven’t been able to find anything online to help me with this.

    I’m new to this too, but I found that the easiest way to insert a gallery or a slideshow is to click open a new post to write, click on the little NextGen Gallery icon (if you hover over the icons, they’ll tell you what they do), and then click which gallery you want to use, and then pick if you want to use it as a gallery or a slideshow. Then the gallery or slideshow id is inserted automatically.

    Hope this helps. I know how frustrating these kinds of things can be. The newbies gotta stick together!

    I’m really new to this too, and I am trying to add a skin to the player as well. Can someone walk me through the steps that I need to take to do this.

    I couldn’t find anything that offers step-by-step instructions on how to this once the skin is downloaded. If someone could provide these, I’d really appreciate it.
