[Plugin: wordTube] [Wordtube] skin for a newbie

  • Hello guru’s,

    I am completely new to this but wish to upload a nice shiny skin to my wordtube player. Now I have the swf file, the latest versions of all required files, and all I need to do is insert the code to link my skin to the file.

    Please can you tell me which file this line of code must go in, where by and is it the following?

    so.addVariable(“skin”, “http://www.mysite.com/jwplayerskin/skinname.swf”);

    Thank you so much.

    in wordtube 2.x, you can specify the skin swf in the wordtube settings in the wordpress cms.

    I’m really new to this too, and I am trying to add a skin to the player as well. Can someone walk me through the steps that I need to take to do this.

    I couldn’t find anything that offers step-by-step instructions on how to this once the skin is downloaded. If someone could provide these, I’d really appreciate it.

    Okay, I’ve uploaded the skin onto my server and then posted the URL into the skins field under wordtube/settings/layout. Do I need to do anything else? The skin isn’t showing up. Any help with this would really be appreciated. I haven’t been able to find anything online to help me with this.
