Hi @bonzait,
Thanks for your message.
The above described plugin file path and function do not match the latest Afterpay plugin. It seems like an out dated plugin may be in use, possibly WooCommerce Afterpay Gateway. Please refer to this post Re: WooCommerce Afterpay Gateway v1.3.1 and try again with the latest Afterpay Gateway for WooCommerce plugin.
Thank you.

Hello @seannevo, @rochow, @katrink and @kirstensmitcreative,
Thank you again for your reports.
A new version has been released to the plugin directory. Please update to version 3.4.4 to address this challenge.
Thank you.
Hi @pete4mask and @kristinubute,
Thanks for your messages.
The Afterpay plugin follows the Payment Gateway documentation, utilizes WooCommerce’s built-in functions to create orders and updates the statuses according to the payment responses. It has no integration with the Xero plugin, and does not intentionally trigger any of its functionality.
Please understand that the Afterpay team do not have a detailed insight into the Xero plugin or how it works, and the plugin is not open-source. The team are unable to investigate or test without access to the source code. However, the Afterpay Gateway for WooCommerce plugin is open-source, and follows WooCommerce’s recommended workflow for Payment Gateways. For further support regarding Xero’s behaviour concerning external gateway orders, please reach out to the Xero plugin support team.
Thank you.

In reply to: [Afterpay Gateway for WooCommerce] 403 ErrorHi @defmans7,
Thanks for your message.
As mentioned in the previous response, these kinds of challenges are likely related to individual merchant accounts. For privacy reasons, potentially sensitive or personally identifiable information cannot be disclosed in public forums.
As some examples, a merchant account might not yet be fully activated, require additional information or verification, temporary disabled, even permanently terminated due to fraudulent activity. This is private information that can only be shared in a private correspondence between a verified account holder and the Afterpay support team.
Please also note that account-level challenges are not directly related to the integration software provided for various ecommerce platforms, such as WooCommerce.
Thank you.
Hi @gardenexpress,
Thanks for your message.
The Afterpay plugin utilizes WooCommerce’s build-in functions to create orders, which would not create any discrepancy.

In reply to: [Afterpay Gateway for WooCommerce] two plugins for afterpay?Hi @brobken,
Thanks for your message.
The AfterPay | Riverty payment gateway for Woocommerce plugin is not affiliated with afterpay.com. Throughout Europe, we operate under the brand name “Clearpay”, using the same logo icon.

Thank you.

In reply to: [Afterpay Gateway for WooCommerce] WooCommerce conflict?Hi @jeng22,
Thanks for your message.
Merchants are encouraged to re-save the plugin settings when that banner is seen, as new features and configurations are continuously being added to the plugin. Sometimes the new features will not take effect until the new settings have been reviewed and saved.
The funds will be remitted in line with the settlement period outlined in your contract with Afterpay. If that is not the case, please submit a support request including a link to this post using the following web form: https://help.afterpay.com/hc/requests/new?ticket_form_id=193406

Hi @kristinubute,
Thanks for your message.
The team were unable to find a WordPress plugin named WooCommerce Xero Integration. Is it not open source? Has it been actively maintained and compatible with the latest versions of WordPress and WooCommerce?
The Afterpay Gateway for WooCommerce uses the built in WooCommerce methods to create orders and update order information. Happy to provide a detailed explanation to the Xero team to help them to better understand the behaviour of WooCommerce Payment Gateways. To facilitate this please submit a support request including a link to this post using the following web form: https://help.afterpay.com/hc/requests/new?ticket_form_id=193406

Hi @adeel018,
Thank you for your message.
From your description and provided link it sounds like this might be a challenge involving the Afterpay javascript being bundled by a 3rd party performance plugin. If possible the
afterpay-1.x.jsfile should be ignored by performance plugins. If you would like assistance with this, the team would be happy to help. To facilitate this please submit a support request including a link to this post using the following web form: https://help.afterpay.com/hc/requests/new?ticket_form_id=193406Thank you.
Hi @benjaminblue,
Thanks for your message.
From a look at the site it appears that Afterpay is not appearing on the PDP page (as you pointed out), at the cart or at the checkout. This may point to Afterpay not being available, either due to an account setting or a misconfiguration in the plugin settings. The team would like to assist with an investigation. To facilitate this please submit a support request including a link to this post using the following web form: https://help.afterpay.com/hc/requests/new?ticket_form_id=193406
Thank you.

In reply to: [Afterpay Gateway for WooCommerce] Afterpay payments fails in wordpress6Hi @dilmadushani22,
Thanks for your message.
The engineering team have just tested the Afterpay plugin v3.4.1 with the latest WordPress v6.0.1 and WooCommerce v6.7.0, and confirmed that Afterpay orders could be created successfully. Hence this should not be an issue of compatibility.
Regarding the cancelled payments, did you mean orders being cancelled? If so, the team believe that it could be the case where the customer has abandoned the order, and WooCommerce holds stock (for unpaid orders) for certain period of time before the pending order is automatically cancelled.
The team would be happy to assist with an investigation, if that was not the case. To facilitate this please submit a support request including a link to this post using the following web form: https://help.afterpay.com/hc/requests/new?ticket_form_id=193406
Thank you.
