In reply to: [WooCommerce] Product tags with starting letter a dont appear in tag cloudHi @disait,
Do you have a caching plugin enabled? If so, you’ll want to purge all cache from it and then delete your browser’s cache and recheck if the tags starting with “A” are not shown.
If the above does not work, kindly perform a full conflict test just in case the issue is coming from one of the tools that you’re using. Here’s the conflict test guide – https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/how-to-test-for-conflicts/.
Let us know how it goes.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Shipping cost per zonesHi @mstudioil,
Thanks for getting back.
Like North America is USA and Canada, I want something for other continents.
In WooCommerce, Zone Regions consist of continents, countries, or states.
You can easily find North America since it is a continent. You should generally be able to find the 7 continents in the WooCommerce zone regions: Asia, Africa, Europe, Australia, North America, South America, and Antarctica.
However, beyond that, you have to specify the individual countries or states in the zone regions.
* For reference, kindly check this documentation – https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/setting-up-shipping-zones/#section-3.
I hope this clarifies.
Thanks.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Woocommerce Order items different for email notificationHi there,
1) Order received from the system. We do received email order notification, but sometimes some order didn’t receive email notification.
You’ll first want to check if WooCommerce is generating these emails. You can use the WP Mail Logging plugin for this by placing test orders.
Once you check the mail log after ordering, there are two ways to proceed:
If the emails are being generated, then it means that WooCommerce is working well. In such a case, you’ll want to get in touch with your host to check for issues in the mail server. If you’re using an SMTP plugin, kindly get in touch with the SMTP provider for further checks. If the mail log does not log any emails when you order, kindly perform a conflict test to see if you can narrow down to the tool (theme or plugin) causing the emails not to be generated when you order. Here’s the conflict test guide – https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/how-to-test-for-conflicts/.
2) We have also received order from system, and email order notification. Same order number it happened to have different item list.
It seems that I did not fully get the question. Did you mean to say that two orders came with the same order number? Please expound further on this question.
Thanks.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] All Products Short Descriptions VanishedHi @panayootis,
followed all the steps and did the test, but the descriptions aren’t back.
Just to check further, from the conflict test, when you’ve disabled all plugins apart from WooCommerce and switched to a default WP theme like Twenty Twenty-One, how does the product page appear? If possible, could you share a screenshot of it?
* I recommend https://snipboard.io for sharing screenshots – please follow the instructions on the page, then paste the URL in this chat. It works with Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge.
Thanks.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Woocommerce – Bulk Product FeedHi Jane,
When doing a bulk product feed I would like to use dynamic pricing is this possible?
If this is in reference to our Dynamic Pricing extension, we’d be happy to proceed with the discussion via a ticket as we’re not quite able to assist with paid extensions here. Feel free to create a ticket with us via this link- https://woocommerce.com/my-account/create-a-ticket/?form=ticket.
If you’re not referring to the above plugin, could kindly clarify further the question and the plugin that you’re using?
Also can I bulk move products into a different category?
Yes, there are several ways of doing it.
Here’s an article that I found explaining a number of options to achieve this – https://www.flycart.org/blog/woocommerce/edit-woocommerce-product-categories-in-bulk
Hope this helps, we’ll be happy to be of further assistance.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Product data product type dropdown doesn’t showHi @sertancayci,
Normally, the product data should have a dropdown to select the type of product you wish to create, like a variable product for instance.

Link to image: https://docs.woocommerce.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/05/WooCommerce-Product-data-meta-box.pngTo troubleshoot what could be causing the issue on your site, let’s check a few things.
1. I see that you’re using WooCommerce version: 3.7.0. This is an outdated version, thus, could you kindly update to the latest WooCommerce version? Once you’ve updated, check if the issue persists.
* As you’re updating from a rather old WooCommerce version, I would recommend taking a full site backup before the update. You can use UpdraftPlus for backups.2. If the issue persists after the above step, it is likely that there’s a plugin/theme conflict causing it. Thus, kindly do a full conflict test as explained in this guide – https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/how-to-test-for-conflicts/
If the issue still persists after the above two steps, could you please share a copy of your site’s System Status? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”. Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.
Let us know how it goes.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Woo Allowing Out of Stock Items to be PurchasedHI @judy2006,
One more thing regarding this part:
So my Parent product inventory doesn’t change according to the changes in variations inventory. How should I tackle this?
As @maykato said, this is expected.
Thus, if you’ve enabled stock management and defined stock both at product level and at variation level, only the variation level stock will be deducted during purchases.
The parent stock will be ignored in this case. You could consider disabling stock management at the product level to avoid any misinterpretations of your available variations stock.
For reference on inventory management for variable products, kindly check this guide – https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/variable-product/#inventory-management.
Thanks.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Customers Aren’t Being Charged Shipping Or TaxHi @garrywithtwors,
I have WooCommerce PayPal Checkout Gateway installed, does this cover credit cards also?
Yes the WooCommerce PayPal Checkout Gateway accepts card payments. However, as noted on the plugin page, support for PayPal Checkout will discontinue from 1 Mar 2022 and updates to the plugin have stopped as of 1 Sept 2021. That’s why we recommend switching to PayPal Payments.
So I’d be fine disabled the woocommerce payments
Just to mention, WooCommerce Payments is a different plugin that’s powered by Stripe.
If you wish to accept PayPal as well as card payments, PayPal Payments would be good.
Thanks.
