Thanks for your reply @myacoub, it seems that @mathewborja is referring to a different issue altogether. For your specific case, let us know how it goes after increasing the memory.

Just to mention, @mathewborja, we’d prefer if you created a new separate thread if you’re facing an issue accessing WP-Admin after updating your WooCommerce plugin.

    Thanks.

    Hi @metalsunny,

    Glad to hear it works!

As for the other issue, feel free to post it. If it is WooCommerce-related, we’ll be happy to assist. If not, we might also be able to guide you further on where to get help.

    Thanks.

    Hi @binarywc,

When a user is logged out then logs in from the checkout page their cart shouldn’t merge at all, the logged out cart should be all they are shown on the checkout page since they aren’t logged in before giving their payment info.

Just to clarify, the opposite of what you’ve said is the inbuilt behavior. If there are items sitting in a customer’s cart on their account and they’ll be shown during checkout alongside other items added to cart when the user was logged out.

The article I shared gives a workaround to have the cart cleared when one logs out.

    I hope this clarifies further.
    Thanks.

    Hi @nelsonx,

I visited the site and was also prompted to select options before adding the linked product to cart despite having selected the options.

I would recommend that you perform a conflict test to see whether this issue is caused by your theme or one of the plugins that you’re using. Here’s the conflict test guide – https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/how-to-test-for-conflicts/.

If the conflict test does not identify a culprit, could you please share a copy of your site’s System Status? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”.  Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.

Let us know how it goes.
    Thanks.

    Thanks for the updates.

    Just two things for now:
    1. From the SSR, I see that your WooCommerce is a bit outdated, could you also try updating it?

    2. Further, as you continue troubleshooting, I would just add one more test to the list: checking if these orders exist.

If the orders were indeed created on your site, kindly check the emails you received when they were created. From there, retrieve the order number (it’ll be in the format #1234). From there, try to open the order page from

    http://www.biblesandbooksonline.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=1234&action=edit

*Be sure to replace 1234 with the actual order number.

Let us know if you’re able to access the order page when you try the above.

    Thanks.

    Hi Laurynas,

The old one (it was made automatically when creating product card), which was changed prior entering the product data and publishing. Entereing into product via order shows almost empty product card as well (withuot description, short description and so on).

In the two screenshots, the products seem to have different names and prices. Further, you mention that from the order page, you’re led to a different product that has not descriptions.

Thus, as a first step, kindly confirm whether “VEJOS PJOVIMO ROBOTAS OPTIMOW15 Optimow 15 (Copy)” is a different product that exists on your site. You can do this by checking on the Edit Product page whether the two have a similar product ID or SKU.

    Link to image: https://i.snipboard.io/WlGnug.jpg

Here’s an article explaining how to find the product ID.

    * If the two products are different, you may want to trash the one you do not wish to sell.

    * In the event that the two products are the same (ID and SKU), could you check if you have a caching plugin and purge all cache from it? From there clear your browser cache and try ordering to see if the problem persists.

Let us know how it goes.
    Thanks.

    Hi @mmc270,

In my widget the box is always over the text.

Could you elaborate further on this problem. I visited the shop page but could not quite make out where the issue lies.

I have also a problem with the price that is not possible to do the filter because doesn’t show the amount.

Just to check, which tool are you using to add this filter?

Could you try adding our Filter Products by Price widget in Appearance → Widgets and check if it works for you?
Here’s some more info about the widget – https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-widgets/#section-5

    Thanks.

    Thanks for the clarification, @binarywc.

The root of the problem is the logged merges with the logged out cart if the user is logging in from the checkout page. This should not be happening.

This is actually the default inbuilt behavior in WooCommerce. When you log in to an account and add an item to cart then logout, the cart persists in your account. If you add another item to cart when logged out and log in again during checkout, the expectation is that items you had previously added to cart will be merged with the current items in cart.

There have been workarounds via custom codes by users who’d prefer to have the cart cleared when a user logs out. Here’s one workaround – https://bucketpress.com/disable-woocommerce-persistent-cart/.

If you’d like to suggest this as an inbuilt feature in future WooCommerce versions, you could post it in our Ideas Board for others to vote on it and also for developers to see it.

    Hope this helps.
    Thanks.

    Hi @kare93,

Thanks for sharing the SSR. I took note of the following:

WP Fastest Cache: από τον/την Emre Vona – 0.9.4

As it seems that you have a caching plugin, could you try to purge all cache from the plugin and clear your browser cache then check if the issue persists?

    ### Theme ###

    Name: Woodmart
    Version: 5.3.3

I see that your theme overrides many WooCommerce templates and some overrides are outdated. I can see that there’s an available update to ver 6.1.4 and the changelog mentions category fixes/improvements severally.
If possible, could you update to the newer version available?

*Note:* Remember to backup your site before such changes. You can use UpdraftPlus for backups.

I have deactivate all plugins and set default theme, but it doesn’t work again.

Once you’ve made the above changes and the issue persists, could you kindly try doing another conflict test?

This time, if the issue persists, please share a screenshot of how the category page is displayed on a default WP theme with your current settings.

    * I recommend https://snipboard.io for sharing screenshots here.

Let us know how it goes.
    Thanks.

    Hi @charlottecox92,

I have the setting in WooCommerce set to: ‘ Allow customers to create an account during checkout’ – but on the checkout that does not appear.
I also have the setting in WooCommerce set to: ‘ Allow customers to log into an existing account during checkout’ and again on the checkout that option does not appear.

It seems that there might be another tool (theme or plugin) causing these fields not to appear.
    * As a first step, if you have a caching plugin, I would suggest that you purge all cache from it and delete your browser’s cache memory then check whether the issue persists. Further, you will want to configure the caching plugin as explained in this guide.
    * If you do not have any caching plugins, you will want to perform a full conflict test to narrow down to the tool causing the issue. Here’s the conflict test guide – https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/how-to-test-for-conflicts/

Let us know how it goes.
    Thanks.

    Hi @antonwa,

I was under the impression, that the shipping zone assumes the user is from the Location ( even the same postcode ) as store when the default customer address is set to: Shop base address

With the customer’s default location set to the shop base address, it seems WooCommerce will pull the country (and state in other countries) but not the city and postcode.
On your site, the zone that best matches this shop base location is the second one that covers the broader Austria without the zipcode restrictions.

If that is the case is there a way to force the user be from the shipping zone which includes method for “delivery”.

Shipping zones are dynamically assigned on a first match basis depending on the customer’s location.
Thus, if you set the default customer location to no location by default, the customers will be required to enter their country, street address, and then zip code. This should match them to the Vienna zone (if their zip code is within your list in the first shipping zone) with the delivery option.

    Hope this helps.
    Thanks.

    Hi Indiano,

Just to check, have you tried following the steps outlined in this app troubleshooting guide – https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/android-ios-apps-troubleshooting-error-fetching-orders/?

Let us know how the above goes.
    Thanks.
