In reply to: [Redirection] Internal source of faulty linkHas this been fixed?
My site is still being flagged for these images. I have chosen “Hide Images in Posts” to be ‘yes’. It doesn’t help.
Is there any solution other than to uninstall the plugin? Thanks for the reply.
For “Hide Images in Posts”, I clicked YES. I then cleared the Cache. The images are still showing (and slowing).
If you have any other ideas, please let me know. I’m afraid I just need to remove this plugin from my 3 sites that use it.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [UpdraftPlus: WP Backup & Migration Plugin] Stalled ProcessesThanks for your reply.
There were 80 or more of these ‘stalled processes’. I don’t know why Updraft would even be making 80 processes in a day. Perhaps I misconfigured something, but it has been working for me for many months on 4 different websites and I made no recent changes.
I’ve left Updraft disabled for the last week or so and no more problems have occurred. If there is no easy solution, I’ll just have to disable it and trust my hosting site to keep good backups.
Thanks for your time.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Redirection] CategoriesThanks, John. Yes, they basically all look like bots, so I’ll not worry about it I guess.
The second part of my question was about how I set up the plugin 2 years ago when I first used it. I’d asked:
Second, most of my redirects look like this:
/leadership/passi/4mis.htm (Ignore Case / Ignore Slash / Exact Match)
/passi/la-vostra-strategiaThe Source URL is probably ok as that is where the pages were before switching to WP. I don’t remember why I have /passi added here in the Target URL. It isn’t needed. For some reason it still seems to arrive at the real URL of /la-vostra-strategia. I’ve got this for maybe 200 redirects so I’d rather not manually have to fix them all if not needed.
Any idea why the redirects are working anyhow and if I should change them all?
Thanks again!

In reply to: [Complianz - GDPR/CCPA Cookie Consent] Blocking Facebook Feed?Wow, Leon, that was fast! Yes, disabling the second toggle (Facebook Placeholder) works fine. Am I still in EU compliance if I do so?

In reply to: [Complianz - GDPR/CCPA Cookie Consent] Blocking Facebook Feed? This problem is again occurring on my two websites that use both Complianz and this Facebook feed. I think when I accept the Complianz update that it must have reset the problem. Is there a permanent solution to this?
Thank you. Yes, the guys at Complianz cookie blocker were able to make a personalized adjustment. The problem was on their end. Thank you so much for your help.

In reply to: [Complianz - GDPR/CCPA Cookie Consent] Blocking Facebook Feed?Great.
Never used github like this, but I think I figured it out. You are teaching me new stuff. 😉
I installed 4.1.2 from github, deactivated 4.1.1, and activated 4.1.2.
It seems to be working perfectly now.
Should I “delete” 4.1.1 now and will 4.1.2 receive updates like normal?
Really, thank you so very much for your help!I solved this – sort of. My Cookies blocker (needed for the European Union) adds a placeholder to block content until accepted by the user. For some reason, their placeholder isn’t working with FeedThemSocial.
The makers of the cookie blocker says, “I think the solution might be to make the placeholder matching stricter.”
That’s beyond my skillset. Is this something I can do through FeedThemSocial? Any suggestions welcome. Thank you!Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Complianz - GDPR/CCPA Cookie Consent] Blocking Facebook Feed? Thanks for the quick reply. Yes, disabling the placeholders solves the problem.
I’m not much good at this technical stuff. Do you have an article or any suggestions on how to make the placeholder match better? I’m not sure if this is something I can do within Complianz, within the Facebook feed, or if I need to try to mess with the css.
Thanks again!Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Complianz - GDPR/CCPA Cookie Consent] Settings Button DisappearsExcellent. I should have caught that. Much appreciated.
THank you for your reply. I have followed your steps, but it has not worked. Here are some interesting notes.
I use FeedThemSocial on 2 sites. 1 at http://anglictina.pusta.cz/ is working. This one at missioneperte.it is not.
When I cleared the cache on MissionePerTe.it’s FeedThemSocial and then clicked on FACEBOOK Login and Get My Access Token, Facebook informs me that I’ve previously linked SlickRemix to Facebook. When I click “Settings”, it asks, “What Pages do you want to use with SlickRemix?” Both Anglictina and Missioneperte Pages were listed but only Anglictina’s Facebook page was checked. I selected all, clicked Next, and gave SlickRemix permissions to “Manage my Page” for MissionePerTe also. Sadly, this did not solve the problem.
Interestingly enough if on my Missioneperte website, I switch my access token to the Anglictina facebook page, Feedmesocial still tries to load my MissionePerTe facebook page.
Facebook told me my User ID and said that you might need to know it. Let me know. I won’t post it publicly, of course.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [External Links - nofollow, noopener & new window] Header issueThanks, furnituresuppliesuk. It broke menus on 2 of my sites. Simply de-selecting All contents and then selecting Post Content fixed it beautifully!

In reply to: [Complianz - GDPR/CCPA Cookie Consent] Not blocking Sumo Share barWorking perfectly now.
I deleted SIX other GDPR plugins this morning that had let me down in one way or another. Complianz is the sole survivor.
Functionality and support are great. And the fact that it creates a personalized cookie page for me was just frosting on the cake.
Thanks!
