I just read this articel, which i translated in english:

The implementation of WhatsApp button is under development and will be available in couple of weeks(tentative).
Please note that WhatsApp is a Mobile based service and cannot be added to any Website. It can be accessed from Mobile devices only.
You will get an option to add the button from the menu, but it will be shown on Mobile devices only and not on the normal site.

Thanks! This works great! Just tested on my iphone. I only have one remark. If you share a page via whatsapp, the send button is not directly shown in the whatsapp app. This happens as soon you put some text behind the link. It would be nicer if the send button is displayed from the beginning.
