“simple products” seem to be ok for sync – I do not see an error when updating a product. The issue seems only to be vor variable products (tested 10 products). All tested products are in stock, Facebook-Option is set to “sync and show”, do have a price and are no virtual products.
Thanks for any help 🙂
Best regards Norman
The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]
Could you edit one variable product and then go to the Variations tab? Then take a screenshot of the page and share it with me.
I want to check the product configuration at the variation level. This might allow us to find out what is causing the sync issue for variable products.
The screenshots of the product do not show anything unusual.
Could you share a link to the product page? I want to review the product contents.
This is a long thread so I want to verify the problem again. 🙂 You are facing a problem where you create a product and it syncs with Facebook fine. But when you edit an existing product for example changing the name from Test Product to Test 1 Product, then these changes are not synced at Facebook.
I appreciate your patience while we work on resolving this issue.
Welcome back! I’ve tested the link you shared but I got a timeout error.
Can you please make sure you don’t have any excluded Tags or Categories for sync on your Dashboard → Marketing → Facebook → Product Sync → Exclude categories / tags from sync ? (Learn more)
I have not been able to find anything unusual on your site that could cause an issue with Facebook sync for variable products.
This suggests that this problem may not be related to configurations but could be a conflict between plugins or the active theme. So I suggest performing the Conflict Test.
Please disable all other plugins and only leave WooCommerce and Facebook for WooCommerce plugins active. Then try recreating the problem again.
Also, share the latest System Status Report. You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select Get system report and then Copy for support.
Once you’ve done that, you can paste the text in https://gist.github.com After that, you can paste the Gist link here in your reply.
Because this shop is in production, I’m not able and allowed to disable “all other plugins”, what will cause errors for customers. Also when cloning the site to our staging environment I still cannot do any Facebook-Sync tests – the Tool will sync wrong product URLs (from staging environment) to the production commerce manager. That might affect linked products in social media profiles.
So I need first clone the site to our internal staging environment and then need to create also a staging environment in commerce manager / on Facebook to simulate the whole thing. I don’t think there will be another (simpler) way to perform that kind of tests…?

Yes, you can consider using a plugin like Health Check & Troubleshooting. This is a plugin developed by the WordPress community, and it is helpful to disable plugins without affecting your current site visitors.
We haven’t heard from you in a while; this is to check if you’ve been able to proceed with the troubleshooting steps provided before and if you still need help.
