As it happens, I am currently in communication with the RML author regarding better RML support. I will leave this topic unresolved for now and post an update when I have progress to report.

I am very happy to report that the latest MLA version 2.95, supports the latest version of WordPress Real Media Library: Media Library Folder & File Manager, both free/lite and pro editions. I’d like to thank Matthias for working with me to complete the changes in both plugins required to make this possible.
