Hello lunar_storm,
It probably has something to do with your slider placed within a slider. It looks like you are recreating the elements when moving to a different slide in your mother slider. In other words, Cyclone Slider gets destroyed when moving slides in your mother slider. Try calling jQuery('.cycle-slideshow').cycle() after you have moved into the slide containing Cyclone Slider. I recommend you consult the Cycle 2 API – http://jquery.malsup.com/cycle2/api/
Best regards
Hi kosinix,
thanks a lot for your quick respond 🙂 I understand now what the problem is but I was not able to fix it cause I’m not that familiar with programming 🙁
And I do not have a FTP connection to the server right now but I already called my provider to set it up.
So do I have to do this in the settings / editor of the plugin or in the wordpress installation data?
Thanks again and best regards :):)
Hello lunar_storm,
You need to find the code in your mother slider that inserts/re-inserts the elements of the current slide. After that code, try calling jQuery('.cycle-slideshow').cycle() and see if the Cyclone Slider 2 works. You should ask the help of your developer to assist you with coding as it requires intermediate-advanced skill in jquery and js.
Best regards
Hi kosinix 🙂
I have asked my provider and hopefully he can fix it…But thank you for your great support, I well till him what he has to do 😉
Have a nice weekend 🙂
Hi kosinix,
I contacted my provider but unfortunately he has no time to fix that code for me 🙁 In between I got an FTP access and can change files. So maybe I can do it with a little help… 🙂
Could you shortly explain me where I have to add that line “jQuery('.cycle-slideshow').cycle()” ? What do you mean with “You need to find the code in your mother slider that inserts/re-inserts the elements of the current slide”? I actually don’t know where to search 🙁
Would really be nice if you can help me out…hopefully I can make it 🙂
Thanks a lot 🙂
Hello lunar_storm,
I just found out about Cyclone Slider 2 this morning and was using it for my own portfolio as well. I also ran into the same troubles you did, and went scrambling around for a solution. And I found one (at least it worked for me)!
All I did was go to the Cyclone Slider 2 Settings on the WP Admin page. Then I changed it to load the scripts in the Header as opposed to the footer. That’s it.
Hi everyone,
I still have a problem with Cyclone Slider 2 🙁 I experimented with the settings, made an update but nothing really works.
After the update to the newest version clicking on the arrow (change the slide) leads to a page refresh and I really don’t know why 🙁

Thanks a lot for any help!! 🙂
