    Hey!

I’ve checked several threads to relating issues and have tried to resolve it, but none happened.

Issue: None of the elements of Site Kit are loading (they just keep on loading)

    Efforts:
-I have tried to install in incognito.
-Deactivated several plungins while reset & reactivating Site Kit.

@plotperty On the screen where you’re encountering the loading sign can you share any XHR responses? You can share them to this Google form which we can investigate.

@plotperty Many thanks for the update, very useful. Before I escalate this may I ask you what plugins you deactivated before attempting setup once more?

If you’re in a position to check with all other plugins temporarily deactivated it would be great to see whether the same issue arises.

well I have lots of them now, I deactivated the following plugins multiple times; such as Yoast, W3cahce, permanlink manager, social media by ultimate social media, Wpstatistics, statistics. The only one I am not sure about is PhpSnippet by XYZ

@plotperty I created the following GitHub issue to track this issueL
    https://github.com/google/site-kit-wp/issues/1233

While the status remains loading when you check the module status can you confirm whether you can see the dashboards on the Site Kit main screen?

It would also be really useful to check with all plugins temporarily deactivated. Are you in a position to test with those other plugins also deactivated while checking?

    Thread Starter plotperty

    (@plotperty)

I cannot see the dashboard, and I cannot deactivate all of the plugins.

    Thanks

@plotperty Understood in relation to the other plugins. I’ll let you know here once we have more information or if we require any further information. We are still investigating this issue at present.

@plotperty While we are investigating this issue can you attempt to reset Site Kit and delete the plugin in full, before then installing the latest version (version 1.6.0) and checking for the same issue?

    Thread Starter plotperty

    (@plotperty)

    just did that. nothing changed

    (@jamesosborne)

@plotperty Despite our best efforts we’ve been unable to produce the same issue from our side. If you have any redirections or WordPress featured applications at host level please try temporarily adjust or disable before trying to install using Site Kit 1.7.0.

You could also setup a clean WordPress install using a subdomain and test setup using that subdomain.

@plotperty Just following up with you on this issue. Can you inform me if the same issue persists with version 1.9.0 of the plugin?

    Thread Starter plotperty

    (@plotperty)

yes, the issue is still there, even after the update

    (@jamesosborne)

@plotperty 1. While the issue may be server/hosting related I have one other troubleshoot steps you can try, which doesn’t involve you having to make any modifications to your sites or hosting. Let me know if the following allows you to proceed:

    1. Open your sites admin panel from a browser incognito window
    2. Disconnect Site Kit or reset Site Kit
    3. Install and activate the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin.
    4. Navigate to “Plugins > Health Check & Troubleshooting > Troubleshoot”. (This will temporarily deactivate other plugins and switch to a default theme – for you only, as a logged in user).
    5. From there click on the “Available Plugins” tab at the top right and then click on the “Enable” option next to “Site Kit by Google”
    6. Attempt Site Kit setup once more

You can exit troubleshooting mode afterwards.

@plotperty As we didn’t receive a response I will mark this as resolved. Feel free to open a new support topic if you continue to encounter issues.
