Thanks for reaching out, and I apologize for the inconvenience caused!
Could you please clear your website’s cache and share a screenshot of the Redirect Attachment URLs option under All in One SEO > Search Appearance > Image SEO tab?
Also, please share the parent page URL or URL of the page where those images are used so I can have a closer look.
We haven’t heard back from you in a couple of days. I’m going to go ahead and close this thread for now. But if you’d like us to assist, please feel welcome to continue the conversation.
Could you confirm if the attachment page URL that you shared in your initial message is exactly the same as the attachment page URL under your WordPress Dashboard > Media Library – https://a.supportally.com/i/Ev7Xce?
If yes, would you be able to use the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin (https://wordpress.org/plugins/health-check/) to debug possible conflicts by following the steps below?
Go to Plugins > Add New and install and activate the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin.
Go to Plugins > Installed Plugins and click on Troubleshoot below the All in One SEO plugin. This will temporarily disable all other plugins and switch to the default WordPress theme only for your user ID without impacting what your visitors see.
Go to WordPress Dashboard > Media Library and click on the attachment page URL as shown in the above screenshot and see if it redirects to the parent page.
If yes, activate your theme and check again.
If you’re still unable to reproduce the issue, activate the plugins one by one and simultaneously check if the issue occurs.
Once you’re done troubleshooting, deactivate and delete the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin.
Hello, Thanks again. I have followed every step and it seems to be ok now. But I have noticed something. Once deconnected of the dashboard, so you are on the release public environnment : if you copy and paste the URL of the image in your internet browser, for example this one https://therapies-alternatives-bordeaux.fr/partenaires/alternative-sante/ ; it’s ok you will be redirected to the parent page ! But if you copy and paste a second time, you are NOT redirected to the parent page and you will see the page of the image (attached file). So it is working only one time ! This is probably an issue/matter of the cache… I don’t know ! Maybe this is normal, maybe this is something to correct … You will tell me ! But don’t worry, I am ok with the way it works right now. Search engines don’t scan 2 times in a row ! I hope I am clear in my explanations. Great day !
Yes, that is likely a caching issue. Could you please fully clear your website, browser, and server’s cache and see if the issue persists?
If yes, please temporarily disable the caching plugins on your website & server, then open the attachment page link in an incognito/private window of your web browser and see if that helps.
