I understand. This was the primary reason I began writing a tinymce plugin. When I first started using WP… I couldn’t believe the limited selection of buttons available in the editor.
So, I began modifying it for myself.. then thought… certainly if I’m having trouble.. there are others out there as well.
… “Ultimate Tinymce” was born.
The biggest problem with Tinymce… is that it’s generated in an iFrame. It’s hard to control editor behavior in this type of environment. It’s drastically different than a software like “Word”. Although they might “appear” similar… behind the scenes is two completely different worlds.
Where do we go from here?? Well, I’ll certainly look into it from my end. Regarding the fonts.. I do have a plugin which allows you to choose a custom selection of Google fonts, and populate them into the “font selection” box in the editor. But, nothing which “grabs” them from your computer.
I do pride myself on my support 😉 So, if you need a little custom help, just let me know.
Thanks for your very kind words!
Hi Josh
I finally found time today to address the problem at the beginning of this thread. But something in the last two updates has fixed the problem in the Pages editor but not in the Posts editor.

Hello Allan,
Okay. Let’s knock this out!
Can you post a link to a screenshot of the two instances you describe. One of the code in the pages… and another of the code in the posts.
Let me visually see what’s going on, and it should help.
Thanks.

Okay… is your wordpress site hosted on the same account as the site where those screenshots are posted? I noticed the loading time of that site is EXTREMELY slow.
If so… this leads me to believe your issue has to do with loading time.
What happens if you open your posts editor (to one where it first appears as one long line)… and wait? Does it eventually “click” into place with the correct formatting, etc?
