Hello @chad-warner,
I’ve tested the latest version (RSVP 2.7.14) and haven’t encountered any issues. Could you please let me know which version of our plugin and theme you’re using? Also, are you experiencing any errors when uploading to the media library? You can check for errors by pressing F12 key on your keyboard, opening the Developer Tools, and navigating to the Console tab. You can upload images to the forum via Imgur.
Looking forward to your response!
Warm regards,
Cristina.
Plugin version 2.7.15. Theme is a child theme of Genesis.
Upon a failed upload, browser console shows:
[Error] Unhandled Promise Rejection: JsonSyntaxError: Invalid response from the Jetpack site
(anonymous function) (media.afc216bfd0e64e9b7c8d.min.js:1:45227)
This site has the Jetpack and Jetpack Boost plugins installed.
Hi @chad-warner,
Thank you for explaining!
It might be an issue caused by a plugin or your theme.
I recommend installing this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/health-check/
After you install and activate the above plugin it has a Troubleshooting mode that allows you to have a vanilla WordPress session, where all plugins are disabled, and a default theme is used, but only for your user – your visitors will still see the normal website.
Go to its troubleshooting mode and only activate RSVP and see if it works correctly with a default WordPress theme (Twenty Twenty-One for example) and no other plugins.
Please let me know how it goes and what you find!
All the best,
Cristina
I followed your instructions. In Troubleshooting Mode, the Media Library only has Classic view, not Default view. With that view, uploading works, as it did outside of Troubleshooting Mode. I had to activate Jetpack to enable Default view in the Media Library. With Jetpack activated, uploading failed, whether or not RSVP was activated.
I disabled Troubleshooting Mode. With Jetpack and RSVP activated, uploading failed when using Default view. With Jetpack activated but RSVP deactivated, uploading succeeded.

Hello @chad-warner,
In order to further investigate the issue, we kindly ask you to send us the PHP Error Log. You may need to reach out to your hosting provider to obtain the log. Once you have it, please upload the file to a file transfer service and include the generated link in the message you send through our contact form.
We are looking forward to your email!
Best regards,
Beatrice.
I just shared the PHP error logs through your form.
