    Hi,

    I recieved this plug-in bundled with the Publisher theme, however doesn’t appear to working. Going to appearance -> widgets only shows an archive widget and no sidebar to drag it to. Clicking on edit with live preview results in the following error:

    Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 134217728 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 80 bytes) in /var/sites/d/dev.hillexplorer.com/public_html/wp-includes/wp-db.php on line 1889

    Any advice? I have already tried increasing my max memory limit to 512mb

  • Hey @markbarrett1976,

    Hope you’re well.

    I am not sure what are you referring but let me explain the workflow. When I try the plugin with one of the default WordPress themes the widgets page looks like this;

    (You can see big version here: https://image.prntscr.com/image/9Ti65wxZSDe3nAPPNr2L9w.png)

    So you just need to create a new sidebar and assign it to one of the theme sidebars to use it. If you have a lot of sidebars maybe memory_limit can be a problem, but if you don’t have any sidebar it shouldn’t cause the problem.

    Maybe plugin conflict or theme conflict there. Can you try conflict test, you just need to deactivate all other plugins and try with Custom Sidebars only. If still didn’t help also please try with default theme.

    Cheers,
