    Hi There

First off – great plugin. Easy to set up and use.

I’ve set up a demo site here, where I’m using the plugin:

    http://www.tumolo.co.uk/demo11/pp-login/

I want the “LOGIN” text in the header menu to change to “LOGOUT” once a user is logged in. What’s the best way of handling this?

Basically, I want the user, once logged in, to not see LOGIN anywhere, as it will confuse them… hope I make sense … if you have documentation on how to best carry this out, please let me know, sorry if I missed it … thanks.

  • Hi,

Thank you for reaching out to us and for your kind words.

From your explanation I understand that you would like the Login menu item to change into Logout once the user logs in.

In order to achieve this you will need to use the Custom Profile Menus add-on (docs) that is available in Profile Builder Hobbyist and Pro version.

With the add-on you can add custom menu items like Login/Logout or just Logout button and Login/Register/Edit Profile in iFrame Popup.

Hide added items based on user role or choose to hide only for logged in / logged out users.

If you have any other questions regarding the add-on please submit a support ticket because we are not allowed to offer support for paid plugins on these free forums.

You can test Profile Builder Pro and all the add-ons on our demo install.

Another workaround would be to use Nav Menu Roles to hide menu items based on user status or BAW Login Logout Menu plugin.

    Best regards,
