Had a problem today where my site ALLGBP.com hosted on GoDaddy was down for most of the day (jetpack-client errors. Eventually, I deleted jetpack directory via FTP, re-installed jetpack and site was back up. But now, when I try to connect with jetpack, I get:
Invalid request, please go back and try again.
Error Code: invalid_client
Error Message: The required “client_id” parameter is missing.
Have repeated the process but still no luck…
never mind – did one more deactivate/connect and it worked.
i Have same problems
when i turn on plublicaze to share on path / facebook / twitter / linkedIn, or anything!!!!!! in publicaze…
I GET SOME ERROR!!
Error Code: invalid_client
Error Message: The required “client_id” parameter is missing.
and must deactive / active it again but still ERROR!!…
how to solved it?
@hukomfamily – please start your own thread here:

This thread is marked resolved.
1) I have to connect it to the wordpress.com account many times as it just disconnects for no reason. (whith the publicize module deactivated. See number 2). )
2) Publicize module just shuts the whole jetpack down. When I try to activate publicize (connect it only to FB, Twitter and Tumblr), a blank pop up window comes out that I can only close. I do so, I try to save changes and the next window I get it’s an Error page:
You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.
Next thing I know is Jetpack has disconnected again to my wordpress.com account, and when I try to connect it again, a new error page comes up:
Invalid request, please go back and try again.
Error Code: invalid_client
Error Message: The required “client_id” parameter is missing.
If I want Jetpack sort of running now, I have to deactivate it, delete it, install it again, and don’t dare to touch it after I finally connect it to my wp.com account. And then live with the frequent problem number 1).
Please help? Thank you so much.
@hukomfamily – posting this in a new thread is the best way to get help from Jetpack support.
Hey Jetpack peeps —
YES, it seems to be working perfectly now, thank you for your help in trying to figure it out.
Though I have no idea why it happened, it finally resolved itself!
Kelly
Hi Kelly, I’m glad to hear! Please don’t hesitate to let us know if you have any other questions.
I had the same problem. Turns out it was a problem with the plugin “jQuery Updater”. Once I disabled it then it worked again.
Deactivating/reactivating JetPack and then re-trying authorization worked for me. Thanks!
Glad to hear that those issues have been resolved! If you experience any further trouble, please start a new forum thread and let us know.
I have the same issue. Worst thing is all the failed plugin installs still list your plugin as installed.
@funsail Could you send us some details about one of your sites, thanks to the Debug link at the bottom of the Jetpack menu, or post a new thread here and let me know your site URL there?
Thanks!
have this problem today.
i deactivate New Adman plugin with social buttons and now all working great!
