    I installed Search Analytics for WP to analyze what topics visitors are searching for on the website and, in doing so, potentially identify topics that could be expanded upon. Unfortunately, it’s no longer easy to export the search terms. I also don’t quite understand the point of exporting only the frequency of searches per day.

    It would be great if there were once again an easy way to download the complete data. I did find a solution in this post (https://wordpress.org/support/topic/export-doesnt-include-search-terms/), but it would be much easier to add a direct button for this URL: mysite.com/wp-admin/index.php?page=search-analytics%2Fadmin%2Fincludes%2Fclass.stats.php. Thanks!

    Thanks for reaching out!

    The page at mysite.com/wp-admin/index.php?page=search-analytics%2Fadmin%2Fincludes%2Fclass.stats.php has recently moved to mysite.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=mwtsa-search-analytics

    On the main search page there is an export button next to the date filters. From my understanding, you are not seeing the “Export Data” button next to the “Filter” button on the main analytics page. Is that correct?

    Clicking the “Export Data” with the default settings:

    • Time filters: All time
    • Results filters: All
    • Group By: Term

    Will download a CSV spreadsheet with the following columns: Term ID, Term, Searches, Average Results, Last Search Date. This seems to be what you need. It will show all the individual terms that were saved.

    Changing the grouping to be “No Group” will export: Term ID, Term, Total Searches, Last Search Date. I just noticed a bug on this export, with the “Average Results” column showing up when it shouldn’t. I will fix that.

    I didn’t understand the part with exporting “only the frequency of searches per day”. Please give me some more details on this one. Can you tell me what columns you are seeing in your export?

    What version of WordPress and my plugin are you using?
