Support » Plugin: File Manager » Can’t access

  • My backend keeps telling me that an update for File Manager Pro is available but when I click the link, it tries taking me to which shows me nothing but a blank white screen.

Just thought I should let you know.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Same thing as my post before – try to use the solution from there:

    I don’t understand…

So there is no update I am supposed to download?

You want me to edit the plugin to stop checking for updates?

No, there is no update. If your admin panel works you have to do nothing. For me the admin panel works veeeeery slow – so I have to stop the update checking.

Are you the developer of the plugin because this seems like something that should be fixed in an update.

Also, I just noticed that I got charged twice for the pro version for some reason. On November 12th it charged me $49.00 and then on November 13th it charged me again for 69.99.

Considering that isn’t working, I don’t know where else to go to contact someone about this. I really hope you fix this soon because I would not have purchased this plugin had I known that the site was going to go down and I would no longer receive support or updates.

I am only a customer like you.

I am only a customer as well. Like Digidani, I had issues with my backend not working. Mine was not accessible at all though, and returned a 503 error after a long time waiting for it to load.

When I disabled the pro plugin my backend started working again. The plugin was just working an hour before though, so I knew something was up. I went to the developers website like many others and discovered the whole site was gone/down.

I assumed then some portion of the plugin was looking for a file on his site to check for updates, since his site was messed up though I’m guessing that file isn’t there anymore. Sure enough if you disable to portion of the code that look for an update, it longer causes any issues.

To anyone that does this fix, I would undo it once the developer has fixed the issue. As of yet I do not believe he has commented on these forums about this issue.

I contacted the developer directly and they said the site would be fixed as soon as possible.

That was all the information I got though.
