Grey bullets are the default bullet. They occur when the focus keyphrase and/or readability analysis of a post has not been completed.

Blue bullets indicate the post/page is set to noindex. How Do I Noindex URLs?

I get all that. My site isnt marked to noindex nor are any of the pages. The default bullett is black and stays black for some reason.

Have you entered a focus keyphrase for the post with a grey bullet? Did you save/update the post after entering a focus keyphrase?

Sorry…. again, for some reason I got locked out of the site.
    But, here is the screenshot.

You will see black bullet by “seo”, and a blue bullet by “readability”, and then black down my SEO analysis. There are other black dots lower. I know they are normally green, red, and yellow. So, this is throwing me off.

    thanks!

That is indeed strange. Looks like some style is overwriting the colors. Just to be sure, we would like to rule out any plugin or theme conflicts that may occur. The fastest way to do this is to deactivate all non-Yoast plugins and switch to a standard theme like Twenty Nineteen

Test this on your development or staging site, if you have one. If not, we recommend using the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin. This plugin allows you to run a conflict check without affecting normal visitors to your site.

As we can imagine that you’re unfamiliar with checking for conflicts, we’d like to point you to a step-by-step guide that will walk you through the process: How to check for plugin conflicts.
