I’m hoping someone can tell me that there is an easier way to use this plugin. I have the pro version of this plugin, but my membership at WPMU Dev is not active so I have no support or updates to the plugin.

I have 13 pages that represent departments. Each department page will share a few widgets, but then there are 2 widgets that will be unique to that particular department and page.

As I see it, I will have to create 13 custom sidebars, and those will have to be specifically assigned at the page editor in the meta box. Each of the 13 custom sidebars will include the 2 widgets unique to the respective page, but the 4 widgets that will be the same for every page will also have to be built 13 times. Yikes.

My hope was that I could create the 4 widgets in the theme’s standard page sidebar, which would mean every page would these 4 widgets. Then add to those widgets by creating custom sidebars with the unique widgets – rather than having to create all widgets in custom sidebars over & over.
