There is a “All Terms in Taxonomy” shortcode that you can use to display a list of all Authors. You can insert this shortcode using the “Insert Shortcode” button above your content editor on a custom page in order to create a author list page.

There is also a “All Books with Tag” shortcode you can use to do a similar thing for listing books by tag.

    Hi @poiesiseditora,

Currently there is no dynamic pricing system for things like local rates, there is just a single static price for each that you can update manually if the price changes.

Installing a MyBookTable Upgrade will not remove or change any of the existing functionality or data in your MyBookTable, it will only add extra features and utilities on top of your existing setup.

MyBookTable fully supports the standard WordPress localization framework (using standardized .POT translation files) but unfortunately we do not have very many translations created for it yet. Currently the only language we have full translations for is Italian. We are in need of native speakers to contribute translations for other languages in order to support them.

If you are interested in helping us translate MyBookTable, you can download the Poedit translation program from here and find some instructions on how to use it here. The string template file that you will need to do translations on is on our GitHub repository here (Go to that page and right click -> Save as… to a file named “mybooktable.pot”).

Unfortunately I can’t walk you through all the details of the translation process, but you can find more help by Googling “poedit translation tutorial” or similar queries if you need further help.

The Professional Upgrade is only licensed for a single website. If you want to use your MyBookTable Upgrade on multiple different websites, you need to get the Developer Upgrade, which includes all features of the Professional Upgrade and can be used with an Unlimited number of different websites.

If you could give me a little more detail about what functionality exactly you are looking for I may be able to give you better help. MyBookTable will always add your Affiliate tag to Amazon links if you have entered your affiliate information. If you do not want it to do this, you can go into your Affiliate Settings and disable the MyBookTable Amazon affiliate system. If this is not working for you, please let me know.

By the way, since you own an Upgrade you can get priority support for MyBookTable by going to http://www.authormedia.com/support/ and entering your information.

You must purchase a MyBookTable Upgrade in order to disable affiliate links for Amazon Buy Buttons.

Affiliate links are the primary way we support our ongoing development and support for the Free version of MyBookTable so unfortunately they cannot be disabled in the Free version.

Ah, I did not realize you were using Grid View for your book pages, in that case none of the meta information such as the series will be displayed on the book listings. We are considering adding options to allow more metadata on the Grid View listings but unfortunately this is not currently one of our immediate priorities.

The Series Listing page that I was referring to can be accessed by clicking the series name on the book page, located directly next to the book cover image in the metadata section. For example, on this book you can access the Rockwood Family series page by clicking on the “Series: The Rockwood Family, Book 1” link on that book page.

Another option if you want to organize your books by Series is to use Shortcodes to display a grouping of books in a series on a custom page. You can create a custom page and click the “Insert Shortcode” button above the content editor to insert MyBookTable shortcodes. The “All books in series” option is the shortcode you are looking for. Let me know if that is what you are looking for. Using shortcodes you can also display a list of links to each Series Listing page, using the “All terms in Taxonomy” shortcode, which you may find helpful.

Unfortunately there is no automatic sorting system at this time.

You can sort your books by going to the “Sort Books” link above the book listing on the WordPress backend. Note that this will change the book sorting of all book pages, not just genre pages. Having different sorting methods for different pages is not possible without custom development.

    Hi Monica,

MyBookTable should display the Series name for each book on the book listings page, if your MyBookTable is not doing this send me a link to your site and I will take a look.

If you don’t find this per-book Series display to be adequate for people looking for a specific series, you may try linking directly to the Series listing page (the page that lists all books in a given series, that you can get to by clicking on the series name from a book). You can link to this from your main navigation bar or create a special series page that has links the series people are looking for.

As for having the book page itself sort by series, that would require custom development and would be rather specific to people who wish to display their books that way. I’m sure you understand that while we would like to help meet this need of yours we have to focus on working well out of the box with as many different situations as possible. Thank you for your feedback though, we will take it into account and consider adding options to make the series more prominent in the future.

You cannot change the size of the covers manually, but they will scale to fit whatever fits best on your screen or mobile device. You can still have as many books as you want on the page though, to have as many as you like per page.

You can see how the Grid View book listings look here: http://www.enclavepublishing.com/books/

Unfortunately showing the book and author name under book covers in Grid View is not currently supported, but it is something we are considering adding in the future.

You go to the MyBookTable Settings page, on the Style tab under General Styles, uncheck the “Enable” checkbox next to “Breadcrumbs”.

Again, yes, these customizations are possible with custom PHP development but unfortunately they are too complex for me to describe exactly how to do them here. You may find the MyBookTable developer documentation helpful, however. I would recommend hiring a WordPress developer if you require these kinds of customizations to your website if you do not have the required skills yourself. I apologize that I cannot be of more help, but we receive many, many support requests from our users and it is impossible for us to assist with each custom feature a user might want.
