We just released MyBookTable 2.1.3 which includes a fix for this problem. If you are still seeing this error message after updating, please leave details about what exactly your permalink structure is and I will see if I can replicate it.

Hmmm, I see. Unfortunately we’ve never encountered what you are seeing before, and I’m not sure what might cause Yoast to do that. It could be some sort of incompatibility with your theme or another plugin you have running on your site. I would recommend trying it out with a default WordPress theme and without other plugins running and see if you still see this issue.

Have you double checked the Post Types section of the Yoast XML Sitemaps settings page like I mentioned?

In reply to: [MyBookTable Bookstore by Stormhill Media] MyBookTable Error with Divi ThemeCan you provide the specific text of the errors you are seeing? I might be able to determine the cause with a few more details.

In reply to: [MyBookTable Bookstore by Stormhill Media] Duplicated on each pageOne solution one of our other users found was going into the books page on the WordPress backend and using the Sort Books feature to sort their books. This seemed to clear the problem up.
MyBookTable appears to work correctly with the most recent version of Yoast’s XML Sitemaps. If you are unable to see your books on the sitemap, be sure that you do not have the Books post type disabled on the Post Types section of the Yoast XML Sitemaps settings page.
By the way, that xml sitemap link you provided is showing a 404 error. Are you sure there is not something wrong with your Yoast setup?

Hi @rumor_lx, I apologize for the significantly delayed response, we have been occupied with other concerns for a while, but I have finally gotten a chance to look into this.
The problem is indeed an incompatibility with the Divi plugin. They have a JavaScript event handler in the theme at js/custom.js on line 657 that cancels event propogation by returning false. This prevents the shadow box from opening correctly. If you are comfortable editing code you can fix this in the short term by removing this line of code. However I have already contacted Elegant Themes to ask them to change this code in a future update to their theme.
Thanks for notifying us of this, we’ll make note of it. We may be able to add built-in support for this theme in the future if there is enough demand for it.

In reply to: [MyBookTable Bookstore by Stormhill Media] Settings Wouldn't Save ProperlyThis was a bug in an old version of the plugin. If you use the most recent version of the plugin you will not have any problems with inserting Buy Buttons.
Unfortunately we do not have access to the Jarida theme, so we are unable to verify whether or not it works out of the box with MyBookTable.

We are planning on releasing an update shortly that will update the displayed version compatability.

Thanks @kbericat,
The permalink issue is a known bug, we’re working on releasing a fix for it as soon as possible.

In reply to: [MyBookTable Bookstore by Stormhill Media] Insert shortcodeHi @dragan1savic,
Unfortunately there is no way to do this in the current version, however in the new update that will be released shortly you will be able to limit the number of books for any of the MyBookTable shortcodes with the ‘max_books’ attribute, like so:
[mybooktable series="scibooks" max_books="3"]~Tim

In reply to: [MyBookTable Bookstore by Stormhill Media] ejunkie affiliate integrationYou are correct, we do not support using ejunkie for affiliate programs. We simply support using it as a portal to purchase ebooks.
