    Zoho Mail as a service is designed to support Business(1-1) communication and we do not recommend sending Bulk mailers using our servers and that includes both within and outside your Zoho Mail Domain. We have restrictions imposed to ensure the reputation of our service, as well as your domain, is not affected.

    The limit for the number of emails/recipients allowed in an email when sent through Zoho Mail is high enough to ensure that normal email communication is not treated as spam. They are set as dynamic and are determined by our Spam Engine based on the algorithms we have implemented.

    We have spam filtering limits imposed due to which you will not be allowed to send any kind of mass emails/ promotional emails or marketing emails. This restriction is common for all users across Zoho Mail irrespective of the subscription you are in. The reason for having these limits is to protect the reputation of our services and also to avoid our IP getting Blacklisted.

    Having said that we also would like to inform you that you should have no trouble sending 300 emails/day using your Zoho Mail account. However, please avoid sending emails altogether at once. Instead please try sending in batches.

    Please try sending emails in compliance with our Usage Policy below to avoid getting banned:

    https://www.zoho.in/mail/help/usage-policy.html#alink1

    >> If you are looking to send bulk Marketing/Promotional emails, please try Zoho Campaigns.
    >> If your requirement is to send Transactional emails please try Zoho Transmail.

    Zoho TransMail plugin -> https://wordpress.org/plugins/transmail/

    Srinath.

    Since the volume of emails sent per week is less than 500, you can continue using the Zoho Mail WordPress plugin and need not switch over to TransMail plugin.

    Also, please be informed that only one plugin can be used at a time, and both the plugins will not work simultaneously.

    Please refer to the below help document for TransMail pricing details:

    We hope this helps!

    On signing up with TransMail, you get a free credit (10000 emails) to explore our platform. Further, please be informed that TransMail is a separate product for sending transactional emails. While Zoho Mail is used for business emails, sending a large number of automated emails violates the usage policy. This is where TransMail comes into the picture. Irrespective of which business email you use, you can employ TransMail to send automated transactional emails from your application or site.

    In WordPress, the authentication is done via OAuth, which is an open standard for access delegation, commonly used as a way for Internet users to grant websites or applications access to their information on other applications but without giving them the passwords. Hence, it is not necessary to provide an Application-specific password for your WordPress plugin configuration. OAuth is a secure mode of authentication and works based on the Client ID and Client Secret generated from the developer console.

    If the issue persists, please drop an email to support <AT> zohomail <DOT> com along with the configuration page screenshot and the error message you get while sending mails. We will review the details and get back to you with a potential resolution.
