In reply to: [WordPress Popup - Optin Revolution] Taking too long to loadThanks for getting back with me so quick. The new results can be seen here. This is with the plugin deactivated.
After doing the test I have reactivated the plugin.

In reply to: Is my affiliate links plugin making my site slow?Hey Seacoast, can you help me out? I’m really not a wizard at this stuff. I re-read the link you sent and all the links inside of the article.
I see a whole lot of discussion about timthumb but not really anything clear cut as to what to do about it and I really don’t know if it is an issue for me.
When I test my site on pingdom timthumb is not what’s taking long to load but maybe it is another issue I should address???
Is installing the plugin “Vaultpress” suppose to fix the timthumb issue? Not really sure and I already have a plugin that automatically backs up my site called simply “Backup”
Any help is appreciated. Thanks, Joe

In reply to: Is my affiliate links plugin making my site slow?I see I have timthumb loading but what do I do about it? Is this what’s slowing my site down? Should I take action? It was never a problem before but my site has slowed way down.

In reply to: Is my affiliate links plugin making my site slow?I tried deactivating it and I don’t think that’s it, I am getting pingdom results all over the place but still slow. Pingdom is only showing 2 redirects and they are both Google.
I have 1 file path that is the one that’s taking so long but I don’t know really how to interpret it.
Here’s a new result: http://tools.pingdom.com/fpt/#!/PbJuWgI5B/topexerciseworkouts.com

In reply to: [WordPress Popup - Optin Revolution] Configure for aweber- no instructionsOK I’m getting it, the only thing I am hung up on and don’t understand is…
Meta Redirect Onlist: This can go any where you want, if the user is already on your list go to this url.
Anywhere I want? What is it for? Do I need it? Don’t know what to do with this???
Thanks

I am having trouble figuring out how to view my form in html. Can you help me out?
I think this should have been posted under a new topic. I will make a a new one.
I am trying this again and thankfully I have no errors this time. One thing I am not sure about is setting it up with my aweber.
I see that many of the fields are populated already in the plugin “Email Marketing Form” Am I supposed to past my script from aweber into one of these fields? Which one? What do I put in “Listname”? Is this supposed to be my aweber listname?
What is the “Meta Web Form ID” field? It currently has a number in it what is that?
What is “Meta Message” it currently has a 1 in it
What is “Meta Redirect Onlist”? What goes there?
What is the “Pixel Tracking ID”?
This should all be explained on the form???
OK I will give it a try again. Thanks.
Hi, I configured my front page to “Your latest posts” and it is working fine except that now Google search engine results page shows a funky snippet.
I am fooling around in “titles & Metas” on the “Home” tab. Is this where you put a preferred title and meta description or snippet? Maybe it is taking it but Google just needs time to start picking it up?
I have tried flushing my page cache and deleting all my cookies and browsing history but Google SERP is still not showing what I have put in.
Normally I would tinker with SEO below a page or post editor but when you set it to “Your latest posts” there does not appear to be anywhere to go to fix it other than the above mentioned “Titles and Metas”.
If anyone can shed some light on this I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks

In reply to: Request for a minimal search pluginP.S. It would be great if it would work with the default search widget in Twenty Eleven.

In reply to: [Google CSE] [Plugin: Google CSE] Not working with search boxYeah but I get adsense money from them and all the search results are mine and link back to my site. Yes this is what I am looking for and I also believe that this is more of a familiar place that a visitor expects in search results, a google page.
I guess there is not a plugin that does this that has just a minimal search box. The widget that google has takes up way too much room.

In reply to: [Google CSE] [Plugin: Google CSE] Not working with search boxI guess we are not on the same page. What I am expecting to see is a real Google Custom Search Engine like this.

In reply to: [Google CSE] [Plugin: Google CSE] Not working with search boxWhen doing a search it just returns results on a wordpress page just like the standard wordpress search. There are no Google results.
