Hey Jason,
Left it on hourly, 17 Backups went with NO issues. better yet, None of that 3-4 hour backup stuff. Every backup completed in under 2 minutes!. 🙂 I will leave it on hourly for one more day, but I really think your sorted it! 🙂
Any updates on this saga?
I threw it up right when you sent it 🙂 I’ve had multiple successfuls but also a few “6 hr” backups. I think you mentioned the logs are available over http so i would expect you can see them now?

Success on 10 Min backup (manual). That seems normal. I will leave it on hourly to see if there are any more Junk blog, or 4 hr run times.

I tried the latest, I got one successful but then :

w3tc and Wpolninebackup are excluded
Heres the 4hr successful one. The site does not have that many visits, and it is heavily cached and on a dedicated VM with a full 2GB RAM devoted to it. :

My Site still actually does not backup , despite being “close” for days/weeks. I think Jason will work all the bugs out soon, i have temporarily deactivated it, but will definitely be turning it back on soon. I ran a secondary backup whilst working out these bugs, called “myRepono” backup. You get a 5.00 free credit and its costing me about 2 CENTS a day, that could be nearly a year, but this solution is more secure so i definitely recommend it, and I myself will be sticking with it. It does not interfere with with this plugin so u can run them both. This would help you get backed up daily until you can sort this out.
LOL… Don’t i feel like a high-tech dummy! Thanks Jason 🙂 , Actually this Dev build (your last one) EVERYTHING seems to be working for me 100%.
In order to do that all i had to do was exclude wp-contentc/w3tc – To eliminate W3 total cache filles.
and the wponlinebackup files themselves.
Not sure if your interested in making that default behaviour or not. but that should make it compatible with the W3TC plugin.
