I have figured out the issue. It seems that it needs to be set on TLSv1.2 to ensure that the payment methods are all supported as many providers are still using the v1.2 instead of v1.3. Now it works on v1.2.

I got the same error even in product mode since yesterday. The plugin stopped working since yesterday.
